I wrote this song right after the first Hans Zimmer Live tour in 2017 before having my first child. It is about learning to quiet my inner dialogue and trust myself. (Which will be a life-long process.)
Self deprecating thoughts are unnecessary and limit our potential. The second we learn how to get out of our own way, we can open ourselves to other people's perspectives in our personal lives.. and globally.
The second message, BE AUTHENTIC. Touring with Hans Zimmer Live this year has provided perspective for me. Stepping outside my reality always teaches me what truly matters. Life is short. I implore you to tell people what they mean to you and stay aware of what you mean to others!
