I just noticed under people who have viewed your profile, there are 2 different follow buttons. There's a regular follow button then there's another with a hand pointing 👉 like this but pointing towards their profile. Why does it show that on some profiles and not others? Can't find the answer anywhere!
Your profile is on your main Tictok page so if someone goes to your main Tictok page to watch your videos, wouldn't it show up as a "profile view", even though your only interested in viewing their videos?
No unfortunately. And then they would have to have profile views enabled on their profile in order for you to see that they’ve viewed your video. It kind of protects both parties.

If you only view the profile in a search and don’t click on the profile, does it show up as a view?
Only when you click on the actual profile and go to their page.
Would they get a notification when you have view their profile
No notification but there is a place inside TikTok they can click and it will show all who have viewed their profile. It’s a list of names with pics

Who’s the most recent person to view my profile ?
It will always be the top one. I see this on my second profile that I have all the time. Som people will visit your page more than once a day also
