Does it clean calipers too?
If they are painted I’m not sure if this product would be safe.
So its ok to use on aftermarket wheels as long as they are not uncoated
That’s a great question, I’ve personally have not used this product on aftermarket wheels if they are coated my guess is they should be fine but I would test it first in a place you can’t see. I would ask suggest asking the guys at meguiars on their UA-cam channel or their Instagram.
Wanted to mention that this product is equivalent D143 not diluted. So this is full strength.

How does this compare to p&s brake buster
in my opinion they have minor differences if you get the gallon you can dilute it as well but the meguiars seems to clean the tires better in my opinion . gut they both clean the rims well.

What about their "hot rims" wheel cleaner? How does this differ? so, how many wheels are on the market now (either OE or aftermarket) that are on the bottle's DO NOT USE list? sounds like an awful lot of wheels that could be damaged by this non-acid cleaner. Oh, and how many cars come from painted brake calipers that could be damaged as well? Almost looks like an iron-remover. What does it smell like.
The non acid and hot wheel rim and tire cleaner are very similar. The no acid is basically considered meguiars pro grade which can be purchased in gallons and can also me diluted. as for the smell it’s not harsh in my opinion that’s one thing I like about this wheel cleaner as well as it’s cleaning ability . Just as you stated their are a lot of different types of rims . It is always important to know what type of rims one would be working on. In order to choose the appropriate cleaner.

@@Autofusionchannel lots of. My rims are the new yaris cross alloy 18 " and have shiny dark Grey part, someone recommended this product, but I see that it is not suitable.

If your wheel are factory coated then yes . At 1:32 on the video I mention what wheels you can not use hope this helps.
