    Final breakdown of all three scooters: 19lbs lead batteries ($.4.75), 75 lb tin/shred ($0.75), 1.3lb aluminum ($1.09), 10oz 40% wire ($0.85), and 1lb #2 copper ($4.30)

Tin shred is only $0.01/ pound? Honestly would've thought everything would be in metric in Canada.

10 cents a pound is better than what we get at 5 cents a pound.

Hey, we have all done it. I am thinking of all the microwaves and crt TVs that I have passed up years ago not realizing the copper content.
