The most frustrating bluescreen I've had was caused by putting my ram in the wrong slot and every time I got a different error code that seemed to point me towards a driver error even though it was a brand new build.
It was likely power problem. You need to plug in power adapter to off computer, then turn on computer, and NEVER unplug it. Computer needs pure power.
I’m surprised your computer even posted. Thats a very common mistake. I’ve done it but the comp wouldn’t boot - the physical board would light up with a memory error code / led indicating memory issue.

Possible could be faulty power supply. I had a PC do that, and what fixed it was going to power saving settings, and the PCI slot was set to balanced, and I changed it to maximum performance and hasn't since. If it's a hardware or driver error incompatibility and/or corrupted drivers should give BSOD.

Please also include the function of the BSOD crash. It's the systems protection mechanism to prevent the system from getting corrupted by detecting data corruption within the kernel memory, as opposed to what many think the BSOD crash does NOT corrupt anything, it tries to prevent corruption.
Could somebody explain why my comment has been marked?
Exactly. As scary they might look, they're very helpful for someone with atleast a minimum of understanding on computers, at someone's very curious and go look for awsner on Internet. Did Windows 10's BSOD improoved? I hated Windows 8's BSOD because it basically removed all the useful information, intending to not scare the average user. Windows 7's BSOD had a bunch of info.
+Matheusfpolis1 A month late, but yes. The Windows 10 BSOD did improve. It gives you the error code, and if a system file is associated with it that caused the system to crash, it'll tell you. That's basically all you really need to fix 'em. No hexadecimal bullshit. The rest can be done with just a simple Google search. They also included a QR code (those things commonly found on advertisements and some products that you scan with your phone), but that just takes you to the Blue Screen troubleshoot page on Microsoft's website, regardless of what the error is, so don't rely on it.
Emphasis on try
@@LuckyPunkProd Whar W10 build? I'm using Windows 10 Pro build 1709, never had a BSOD (yet) with this OS.

@Jake's Army Sorry I responded a little late, but still:
The DATA_BUS_ERROR, is actually a problem with the RAM, actually most likely one/or more) of the ram sticks are faulty or just too old/and or/broken, so you should replace the RAM ASAP! *BUT* it can also mean that the computer has a driver issue at the RAM, so you should check the RAM's driver(s) in the device manager, and try updating or reinstalling the driver(s).
The other one, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, Is yet again from the RAM; This time it basically means that either the RAM settings in the BIOS are not set correctly which leads to RAM undervoltage, incompatibility or overclock. So you should somehow try to verify the RAM settings in the BIOS and see if the RAM's voltage and clock are set to default. They should be set to the default value. This can also indicate that you still need some new ram sticks, OR yet again it can be the drivers (update or reinstall).
And the reason why it happens when you open discord and other things, is because you are most likely overclocking your RAM, but also the reasons that I already put above here.

Once I experienced an "inaccessible boot device" error which turned out just to be a graphics driver. Kind of like hearing a loved scream blue murder only find out it was because their favourite show was cancelled. Still, it was relief to realise the harddrive was fine. Thanks for this video.
Mine was stuck on an "Automatic Repair" loop for a few months but never found anything when it did its scans, seems to be that i turned off my tower with a hard boot while it was in the middle of a useless update and wanted to finish the update. Suddenly and with no warning began working as normal again. No viruses found with as many scans as i ran immediately after.
This is my story-
Holy God. I need to wait a few months? That just happened to me.
Did you get bad system config as the error code cause I shit you not that happened to me
I had the automadit repair loop for months to then it goes to a bluescreen with driver state power failure and it stayed, and still is, on 0% complete.
Mr. Smiley : that’s because the most common problem for all these BSoD is actually Windows itself and not your hardware. This video looks like propaganda to tell you everything is at fault except Windows. There’s not a single instance when I couldn’t perfectly run a Linux LiveCD on a crashing Windows, and the Linux even told me when hardware was dead instead of crashing. Most repair CD for Windows are actually Linux OS. Windows is a very bad OS, always has been, up to Windows 10 which still have BSoD and still can’t last months without rebooting.
It's a driver issue , try some fixes like reinstalling drivers , using msconfig to set load all services ( I do not recommend if you never did it before )
3:48 Inaccessible Boot Device can also occurs if the cable is not on the device anymore, because you installed new hardware and accidentally hit or moved other cables that causes them to get removed from the device. In that case, always check first if the cable or cables are attached on the SSD or harddrive, before troubleshooting any further.

TheOneSimulacrum you played too much watch dogs...
I believe that's a error normally associated with a unstable oc on a cpu.
Another time pls pay attention to the time spent in watch dogs
The CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error means that your processor is having trouble with cooperation from its cores and threads. Threads are tasks taken by cores, and some cores can take many threads simultaneously. The problem here is that a thread is waiting for a proper response from another thread - or a core is waiting for a response from another core - and those responses aren’t coming. Therefore, you get this BSoD error.
Andrebeck27 is this caused by wrong voltage settings? insufficient psu? or is it the processor itself? I got this one on an old pc while trying to play newer games.
Most of my BSODs have the error code "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER". What's wrong and how do I fix it?
Take the thread out of the device driver.
(jkjk i don't know how to fix it)
don't dry your clothes with your CPU fan, they get caught on it easily
go to "event viewer" right after it happens. There should be a "critical" event that should tell you which driver caused it. Then reinstall/update that driver, or remove the device that it is driving.

Just FYI, another common thing people forget to check is the power supply. Interruptions in power caused by a failing power supply can cause these exact same errors too. Seen that happen more than once.
That is correct. BSODs can be also caused by Antivirus / Firewall which is corrupted. Even virus can cause them.
3:46 Also, it could be caused if you have a portable operating system, such as Windows ToGo, where your disk is either removed, stopped processing, or prevented access due to a virus or other malware. A good solution is to either reinstall the operating system on the drive or install it on another portable drive.

agreement
Don't get political please
I watched this video on my pc fullscreen and I genuenly thought I got a bluescreen
same, my pc bluescreens alot
Suicide not the first time they've done it. They've given me heart attacks watching on my oc'd out rig lol
Glad i wasnt the only one who got fooled by that
BioLizard Venom It shouldn't, my old pc ran windows 8 and 10, and for the 4+ years I was using it, it blue screened like once and it wasn't even a good pc. My new one has bluescreened a few times, but that's because I was messing around trying to get a wifi dongle to work and I'm pretty sure the dongle was faulty because it kept not getting recognised, then blue screened my pc. The only other time I think it's happened was when I was trying to play bully: scholarship edition. If you bluescreen frequently, then there's something wrong.
thanks for that one captain obvious, maybe that's why bluescreens exist?
My computer once had a BSOD. It said "INACSESSABLE BOOT DEVICE". I didn't know how to fix it because I don't know everything about computers, but I know most things about computers. For an example, I know that pressing ALT+F4 makes the window that you are using disappear. But that's off-topic. So, let's get back on-topic. Sense I didn't know how to fix the BSOD, I just tried fixing it anyway. But everything I did, it didn't work. So then, I wanted Frank to fix it. It took a couple of days of waiting for him to have a day off of work. That day he came to fix it. It took almost an hour. Luckily, I had patients. So I waited patiently for him to fix it. And he fixed it!

Mine did 15 times today
Type command prompt in your Start menu search bar, then right-click the best match and select Run as administrator.
Next, type chkdsk /r and press Enter.
The command will scan your system for errors and fix any issues along the way.
Not too long ago my pc bluescreened 4 times in a row. Giving multiple errors. (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.) Right after another before i could even get to start screen with ssd. I was already preparing to reinstall windows but disabling XMP fixed it. Dont really know why it happened tho. I didnt overclock RAM nor anything else.
@@Kuutti_original wow
Every time you did the computer voice I cracked up! Linus, you could do a non-serious thing about, "computer movies!" War Games is probably the most popular, but before that there was, "Colossus: The Forbin Project" which was superb, and it is now ancient! (1970)❤
*:( Your P*

When I bought a cheap pc, I always get a wonderful bsod, because I always drop water in the case.
But now, I have a water proof case and it’s also a gaming pc :)
How much was it and the specs
8th gen i5/ gtx 1060 / 16GB of ram / around 1,500 dollars (Price: i think, because i upgraded it a little of the gpu and ram)
@@xdJordxn overpriced. I got the the same specs but 64gb
lol Memes, that was like 2 years ago, I think. (With a 6TB hard drive, btw)
VerenZ Gaming, I suffered two years of mine. 4gb of ram 1.6ghz atom core with a 200gb hard drive. I suffered with that for 2 years. And also, the only thing I can play on that is roblox. (It can’t even run Minecraft only 1980-2006 games)
