If Nick Cave ever reads these I just want to say thank you, went to the 2022 Gold Coast show from NSW since Sydney was sold out and was up the back crying my heart out as this played. Lost my baby before birth and this song expresses so many feelings I can't articulate.
If you ever need tickets for a sold out show get them from Gumtree in the days before the concert, there are always people getting rid of tickets at cost price because someone can't attend or whatever .. I got tickets for both Melbourne shows like that, still awesome how you went all the way interstate for the show.
Your beautiful grief cuts through all of the false happy faces and lets me hold my breath while gasping for the air that's been whisked away by death...The terrible dread of facing a new day is almost unbearable, yet love for those trying to be brave is as strong as the despair. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Both Blackstar (Bowie) and Ghosteen are amazing albums. I love Nick Cave and I love Bowie!
As much as I love Blackstar, to me this goes way deeper in terms of emotional power. This is one of the most gorgeous and sad pieces I know.
