I didn't know this one, checking it out might be a good idea! The production values seem pretty good for a game of this type.
Being able to take all the time you need to make decisions is always a plus in my book
Happy to have more reviews of FMV games, I don't play too many of them but I'm into story based game like Ace Attorney and Zero Escape so I'm not that far removed from being interested.
The action focus may make this stand out as well. Nice to see the streamer mode be a popular feature as well, possibly great for when you are playing it with people around in person too.
You pretty much said everything
It took me about two hours or so to get to the good satisfying ending of this FMV action/adventure game with two possible endings, gameplay wise it reminds me of Night Trap meets Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones with the puzzles that need to be solved. I also enjoyed some of the hand drawn cartoon cut scenes, the ending looked like there may be a sequel as Wales Interactive is known to have sequels for their FMV action/adventure games.
I kinda like to play these things only once and stick to my ending. Unless I play again to show other people, which I did while streaming, so I ended up seeing two endings here.
Most of the Wales Interactive FMV games are all interesting, I am considering Square Enix's The Centennial Case A Shijima Story with subtitles for Japanese characters and a murder mystery that spans one hundred years, hence the title...
@@Roger709Bautista14 Sounds fun. And you gotta love the visuals!
Night Trap
great video!
Thank you!
Wait it has ps5 version
Yes, though I played the Steam version. If you're into this sort of game, I recommend, if nothing else by the cool action scenes
@@cammyplayer is it a easy platnium
I think so. Can probably get it done in one day@@shazam2022
@@cammyplayer yeah wow 🤩 I platnium teenage mutant ninja turtles cowabunga collection I did the two tournament games legit (it was nightmare although Donatello safe the day with his pole)
Probably the most boring FMV game I have played from Wales! And I usually love FMV (my first being Late Shift, absolutely gorgeous FMV,) I just couldn't care less what happened to any of the characters. Also, too many actors from Erica (a FANTASTIC FMV, too) in it. I know they have to recycle actors, so I am not surprised, just a shame they couldn't be in a good FMV. But thank you for the video. I enjoyed watching this more than playing the game!
Hey, yogibear. Nice to see a comment on this video. Makes me think about reviewing more FMVs. For me, the main thing in Mia was the action scenes. Some had very nice coreography. The story itself could be better, but I'm not well versed in FMV games, so perhaps I don't have a feel for how good it can be. Gotta check that Late Shift you mentioned. Also... I feel stupid cause I played Erica a bunch and didn't recognize the actors...
@@cammyplayer The copper in Erica is Tony in Mia and I am sure the father in Erica is the boss an in Mia, but I could be wrong about that one. I am sure you will love Late Shift. Just a note though the Quick Time Events are very quick in Late Shift. It's the only thing I did not like about the game.
