Khaled Hosseini did a great job of making me feel infuriated about how Amir is such a big scaredy cat. It's such a dishonor that, up to this point, Hassan did nothing but stand up unconditionally for his friend. While Amir cannot even bring himself to say a word in HIS DEFENSE.
