2. Always draw naked pose
3. Avoid boring pose: arrange detail, stretch your silhouette, avoid straight line, …
4. Prevent symmetric
5. Choose 4-5 hand and feet and master theese.

Marc, I just want to say that you have the best teaching ever! I've only been watching your channel for a couple of weeks, but your lessons have been essential to my recent improvement! Especially anatomy, the way you break it down is perfect! Like, I thought it would take years for me to understand, but all I needed was the right teacher! As soon as I watched your anatomy vids my art spiked in jmprovement! (Also I always pay the class fee, lol)

Poses is currently the mountain I’m trying to tackle, i think it’s really cool when I see artist that can just pop out some cool pose like it’s nothing, must take a lot of time and practice to be that good!
Not gonna lie, I started digital drawing last month and watched lots of UA-cam artists on how to approach it. They say all the same but my brain can't comprehend the info they giving. Until I watched one of Marc's video and managed to understand what other artists saying. For me, Marc explains it in a simpler way. I'm glad I saw one of his video that time, and I can see some improvements on my drawings recently. Keep it up man.

8:24 honestly this hand tip is low key a game changer. I drew soooo many hands in the last and rn I can't really draw one from imagination still. The 80/20 rule makes sense here as you'll be drawing 20% of the basic hand poses 80% of the time

I've always learn something new whenever this class drops. Usually puts it into practice, sometimes it gets frustrating but it's always nice to have a new path to tackle a problem that's blocks me from improving.

Hey Marc! Just wanted to say your vids on anatomy, mannequins, gesture drawing, posing etc have been a fantastic help. I never quite got it even when studying it from other artists, books, etc, but I’ve Only been studying it with your videos for a few days and I’m already starting to understand, use and implement it a lot better. A huge help as I’ve really been struggling with posing and basic shapes of the different body parts a lot. You explain and show things really well and in a way that easy to understand. Cheers! Will have to check out your course soon when I’m a little less short of cash.

I completely agree with the draw them naked thing! It helps you see the structure better and flow of the clothing you're going to put on them. Heck even the location of the hair flow.

Great video as always Marc! I was wondering if you'd consider doing an "artist's essentials" kind of video? I understand that you hold to the motto "tools don't make the artist" but for many, may not even know where or what to start with, what pencils may be better for what purpose, what tools you prefer to use and why, etc etc. Thank you for your art and wisdom!

Ah i love these videos thank you Marc.. they are really helpful. Poses are another thing i struggle with its no wonder i never like my stiff poses since i kind of want them to look lets say more alive. Though the problem might be because i always start with the head and then have to think of a pose. And whenever i start with the pose i cant think of a way to attach the head >~< The only way to get better is practice of course.. so your videos really do help me out a lot !!

I really like that you mentioned draw your characters naked first! I feel like this even happens in video games and movies. They don’t understand the anatomy cause they start building simple rigs and then add clothes and character design afterwards.
if someone ask "the hand i want to draw, there is no reference like it online"
a simple trick to solve this would be taking a picture of yourself doing the same pose and use it
