Finally! I’ve been waiting for this review. I had my doubts regarding this Ak6 pro before as it might sound exactly the same as the regular Ak6 but with a detachable cable (Also because some Indonesian reviews said that they’re similar). But this video proved that my speculations are wrong (thank god). I’m an Ak6 user and i really enjoyed it (with some EQ ofcourse 😂). The pro seemed to fixed that lacking clarity that the Ak6 has. But I’d rather invest on the MT1 and/or EDX too.
The MT1 and EDX aren't good investments. But too each their own. If QKZ can keep putting out VK4 quality this is the only budget brand (under $20) to buy.
i personally prefer the tuning of the AK6 than the AK6 pro but I love the boominess of the bass. Very, very fun and a must have for bass heads on a budget definitely
Can i ask what do you call the sound chart? Is the left corner the one for high frequencies and the right for the low frequencies? And does it mean if its above the line its more high pitch and if its lower is it more bassy?
i wore my ak6 to sleep everyday because the treble are not intruding and sharp after watching the ak6 video recommendation. smooth listening experience. Also i think this ak6 pro might be "Better" than the mt1 nowadays since TRN seemingly change their sound signature of the mt1 in the "dynamic" version. I think early MT1 has that "Dyuamic" wording printed on the sides which is most reviewers gets. sadly i got the dynamic one the cymbals and the mids is very harsh and the bass response is literally non-existent on it. However the EDX of the later batch has seemingly different driver in them aswell. i got one manufactured in oct 2021. it sounds way better than my mt1. the drivers is very agile and responded to eq very well. unlike mt1

If i were you i'd skip it or buy two MT1s at different stores hoping to at least get one good MT1 but i don't like to play the lottery personally so i'd just stick with something else.
Anyway, QKZ is being crazy now with their Z line of products. There are ZXT, ZXN, ZX2, ZAX2, and ZXD. Their designs are heavy inspired by KZ/CCA except ZXT. Especially ZXN, which is a copycat of CCA C10 Pro. I've tried the ZXN, it's really good sounding tho for the price. I dunno if it resembles CCA C10 Pro sound quality-wise because I've never tried CCA C10 Pro. I hope you will review them zpolt since they will never break your bank account.
Im currently using a ZXN and I really enjoy using it. Coming from an Ak6, it is a big upgrade. Im supposed to get the VK4 but the ones on sale are the new ones with QDC pin (And they probably sound the same as the rest of the new IEM’s that QKZ released like the ZXN and ZXT.). The ZXN reminds of my KZ ZSN but warmer.
What wood be the best cheapest overall in ears under 15$ . Will be using them for guests when they come listen to us play music . Something overall great sounding like the zs10 pro
Personally after owning a pair of kz edx I agree with his claims on clarity and decent sound-stage. If your into bass heavy songs like pop, kpop you wont like the edx. I personally listen to live sessions, rock, metal, acoustic types of tracks and the edx hasn't disappointed me after 6months. Thinking of buying edx pro later this year as its also told to be edx with the same bass qualities and better sound-stage and better top end. Don't know if this helps but wanted to share my experience.
@@onelliyanage Just want to tell you that EDX Pro has hissing problem, i have it for two months and the hissing are too anoying. I try to search it on forums and yes, it's not only me. So i think to buy the EDX one as i don't find any hissing related problem on forums for EDX But first let me ask you as the EDX user, does EDX also has hissing problem?

He said they’re similar. I suggest you try the EDX Pro. Or if you’re a super basshead, try QKZ ZXN/ZXT. I upgraded from the Ak6 to the ZXN and its pretty good. Bassy with good clarity.
going back to this video because my original Ak6 non pro's cable gave up. I'm getting the pros now. Question is, what kind of replacement cables do I buy that has an analog volume slider similar to the original non Pro Ak6s?
@@rans.lagarde EDX pro if you want good bass and lively sound. Moondrop Quarks if you like a more neutral sound. I would’ve suggested VK4 but they revised it and its now very different from the VK4 that everyone liked. The new one is more V-shape and close to the EDX Pro.

According to his graph the ak6 is more bassy.

Really? Huh, that might be why i really don't like my MT1, the sound is like very inwards / small and thin. Definitely prefer my EDX Pro.
