the speakers don't smoke because you aren't feeding enough power to them... they fail mechanically before the coil itself burns up ( because it takes so long for them to blow) if you were feeding them more power the coils would smoke like crazy

You should try out some of DJ Slow 'n Throw's music Many popular songs with a tasty re-bassed bassline, or some are straight up remastered. All of his music comes in an alternate slowed version as well
Remove the dust cap and it will smoke but if your app has a resistor in it the amp will cut any power to the woofer so it doesn't blow and most speakers them self have a cut off in the casing before it blows so you don't blow it
speaker kid I am personally a subwoofer kid witch is bigger speakers but I think you should buy the pioneer sw1000 it is a older sub but it hits hard it's got it own amplifier in it and you can also run off other speakers from it it is a 12" so you will be getting good highs and lows then again it is just a home sub woofer so great low bass it has look in to it on Google
like your vids but to "blow the speaker" you need more wattage I mean you pounded it hard but not enough wattage. I have an amp that is 550 watts and it kills lots of speakers and sub's. I still like your vids.

Your amp probably cut into protection as that is why it slowly faded away, normal they would just bottom out and stop working immediately
