Freddie had his reasons, there is nothing remotely controversial about it. People seem to imply that Gen X was not capable of loving Freddie, Rob Halford, George Michaels, Boy George just to name a few. Nope, wrong.
Freddie did not own 2 Yachts. Jim was not in a relationship when he got together with Freddie and he continued to work as a hairdresser. Freddie met Mary through Brian , not Roger. Freddie and Roger worked at a Kensington store and had an apartment together. He never auditioned for Brian and Roger . They were all friends. Your referring to the movie , which was not a documentary . Freddie loved Mary as a sister , mother , friend that he never had from his family . Mary had NOTHING to do with the Tribute Concert. That was all done by Roger and Brian. You also didn’t mention the beautiful soul that lived within the man. Something of which you probably have no idea.
I hate the way Freddie was portrayed in the movie as an arrogant, careless, confused, drunkard.......whereas the reality is that he CARED about his family and friends.......I read somewhere that Freddie, in his last years would often visit his parents and get his favourite traditional dishes of India made by his mother.......He made quite a bad mistake by getting close with Paul Prenter......but he was a kind person to all his beloved ones

She was the only one who always was there for him, no matter what. She was able to face anything, to forgive anything, to understand anything. That much, she loved him! All the money, and things she inherited I´m sure, she would have given back on the condition that Freddie would still be alive. Even if not with her.
Freddie considered Mary his common-law-wife. It’s not surprising he left her the majority of his estate and homes. He says he intended to do so in 1984, seven years before he died. She had been with him when he was a broke musician, stuck by him when he told her about his sexuality, and remained best friends through to the end of his life. They loved each immeasurably. This video has much factually incorrect info. Freddie didn’t have one yacht, much less two. His parents didn’t inherit his homes. Mary did.
Jim was diagnosed with HIV. Maybe that is why he didn’t leave him more money. He also was not that good with money. Mary managed a lot of his finances with his other production companies.
Yes Jim was diagnosed with hiv in 1990, I'm not sure whether Freddie knew about it or it was kept from him. The only thing I do know is that Jim didn't die from AIDs which never happened to Jim, he died from lung cancer, in the 2000s.
she suported him when he had nothing. She remained by his side when she could just feel hurt and betrayed. She didn’t judge him. She loved him unconditionally. ❤
He loved Mary completely..just because he was gay dpesnt mean that he couldnt love her deeply. She was there for him all the time..she didnt dump him, she accepted his ways and needs..their love went beyond anything many of us would never be able to even guess at. God rest his soul.
I believe, with all my heart, that Freddie Mercury loved Mary from day one and never stopped loving her. I believe he wanted to seek out his sexuality and in the process may have fallen in love with another man but also contracted this horrific disease. The song "Love of my life" was no doubt about Mary. I truly believe that what he was saying to her was "I have to sew some oats because I wasn't raised that way, yet I'm feeling that urge but I believe in the end you and I will be together forever ". I would like to think that Friday is in heaven waiting for Mary and when it's her time they will be reunited forever forever will love you Freddie mercury. Mary austin? I love you as well because I know the type of person you are.
Freddie was the genius in Queen... hes ideas and song writing got that band noticed. Other singers Queen have used after Freddie's passing has not impressed me one jot.... No Freddie = No Queen = No Magic. Queen today are rubbish without Freddie.
Это - Ваше мнение и оно несправедливо. Что же, с уходом Фредди Брайану, Роджеру и Джону нужно было посыпать голову пеплом и удалиться ? Вряд ли бы Фредди это обрадовало.
had a freddie mercury day. didnt really know who he was but knew bohemian and loved the way he sang that song and the harmonies were excellent. saw interviews, a freaky birthday party, and him lying on his death bed. bout to watch rhapsody and the way he played the piano and sang mama, and close the curtain on Mr mercury
I can't imagine him marrying her...he would have continued to cheat on her like he always had. I don't think she was so lucky really. They were friends and even if they had a relationship...he wasn't true to her. She knew his secrets but we all know them now. It was a different time and he would never have been accepted. OMG...the house Jim got was in Ireland...not Manchester! They met at Heaven a gay club but Jim wasn't a hairdresser there...where do they get this information? These things are always so stupid.
It was Mary who realized he was gay and she encouraged him to explore his sexuality. It was an unselfish act....she sacrificed their love so he could be free to be who he really was. He always loved her anyway no matter what happened or who he was with.......
a lot of BS in this video. Firstly, there were really no good, stable relationships with males; those were virtually all violent, or involved cheating etc. Jim Hutton, whom the movie and this vid say was his long time last partner, said in long interviews with author Jones in 1998 that his own book: "Mercury and Me" was mostly a fantasy, how he wished it had been with Freddie, but in fact that while Jim loved Freddie, Freddie clearly did not deeply "love" Jim in return and Jim Hutton said that had Freddie survived illness, he'd have sent Jim on his way. to me the best and deepest relationships were actually those with Mary and Barbara Valentin. The movie didn't even include Barbara, and certain groups of people disparage her, as they do Mary, seeming to insist Freddie was just and only "gay". Clearly he was bi-. As Jim H. put it, Freddie would have said: "I'm 'sexual' ", ie neither "gay" nor straight nor 'bi". I don't think Freddie "hid" being attracted to males, but I think no author has yet tried to see how his youth among boys, may have affected him for life. At age EIGHT, he was sent alone, 3000 miles away to boys boarding school in India. I picture little boys finding comfort and "family" in one another to such a degree, that I think for the rest of his life, Freddie recreated that: in his home, there were several men living there (though Barbara had her own bedroom there too), like the all-boys school environment he grew up in and found security in. Mary was clearly the Love of his Life.
Kdyby ho Mary neopustila nikdy by to takhle nedopadlo. On ji miloval a potreboval jeji lasku. Skoda Mary tolik ti zavidim ale zivot je tezky. Nikdy jsem ho nazivo nevidela mel sve chyby ale miluji ho nadevse. Spi sladce Freddie ❤❤❤❤❤
Mary deserved almost everything. She was in love with Freddie, & he dumped her for another guy. Sick, twisted & gross. Kudo's to Mary for still receiving anything that Queen sells.
Overall nice content. Kindly address the chronology of the early Queen albums. Queen was released in 1973 and no singles charted. Queen II released in 1974 started with their first hit, Seven Seas Of Rhye. Sheer Heart Attack released 1974 spawned "Killer Queen". Followed by A Night At The Opera in 1975 which spawned "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "You're My Best Friend". Please address those error in years and chronology of albums.
No I don't think actively lied except about a few things, I just think he had a very romanticised view of their relationship and wanted to make himself more important in Freddies life than he actually was.
I remember my late Daddy coming into the kitchen and he was upset, i was 3 years old and asked him why and he told me my "uncle Freddie" died and i burst into tears and cried my little heart out, when i was 8 i found out Freddie Mercury was not my uncle lol. Still love him to this day and if im lucky enough to have kids im gonna introduce them to uncle Freddie's music ❤️
He died on my 13th B/D 24 11 91, was then and still now my all-time favourite artist. To say i was gutted about his death is understatement. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. Me and my good friend was sat there listening to Breakthru, which was filmed next to the river nene in Peterbrough which is 3 miles away from my house. I missed the filming as i was at school.....wish i bunked off lol yep i should of.
What Freddie said to her (and who knows if it's true we weren't there) is that "Had things been different we would have married and had kids". This is what I read.
Peter didnt know Freddie when he was dating Mary He worked and brought in money but probably not as much as Mary as it was not regular From 72 they had an allowance from Trident it may not have been a lot but it was regular
Think about if Feddy hadn't gotten this disease. What more Amasing music they would have done ! 😢 it makes me sad to think about what the world lost when someone dies before they should have.
If feeddie stood for anyhting it was he lived his life how he wanted to live and shared his life with who wanted to share it with and everyone else should mind their own business and he was correct in his way he shared his money with who he loved in tje same way he shared his life he preferred hos cats to most humans and the saying of the media and people want to know the insides of a cats arse comes to mind when i think kf gow they hounded him till the very end of his life he give two fingers up to them and did it his way total respect to him
Mary was so in love with him being told the man you love with all your heart and soul is gay is like a death. She actually lost him twice seeing him with Jim must have killed her over and over again. It's been said she never married the father of her 2 boys. If she could have had Freddie's children she would have been happy.
Great video but the title is misleading. The video stands on its own, you don’t need to clickbait it, plus it creates distrust in your subscribers which is bad for your channel. I really enjoyed the video though. Well done.

Freddie wrote “Crazy lil thing called Love” about Elvis Presley, he wrote it in 15 minutes.
Love of my life, I never forget you and your amazing beautiful music ❤❤❤
Freddie had his reasons, there is nothing remotely controversial about it. People seem to imply that Gen X was not capable of loving Freddie, Rob Halford, George Michaels, Boy George just to name a few. Nope, wrong.
Loyal lady
Some of these videos are ridiculous.
@@juliannetomlinson I know . They have no idea what their talking about.💕
How do they do these videos with so much false information?
Don't worry I think this video voice and all is Ai
I hate the way Freddie was portrayed in the movie as an arrogant, careless, confused, drunkard.......whereas the reality is that he CARED about his family and friends.......I read somewhere that Freddie, in his last years would often visit his parents and get his favourite traditional dishes of India made by his mother.......He made quite a bad mistake by getting close with Paul Prenter......but he was a kind person to all his beloved ones
She was always there for him w nothing she was there his personal struggles she was there in his sickness and death she was always there
Soulmate 😍
We love very much Mary.

She was the only one who always was there for him, no matter what. She was able to face anything, to forgive anything, to understand anything. That much, she loved him! All the money, and things she inherited I´m sure, she would have given back on the condition that Freddie would still be alive. Even if not with her.
Freddie thank you for all your sweet memories RIP
So sad 😢
His relationship with Mary was over 20yrs 1969 to 1991, also she chose not to marry her sons father. She married 7 years after Freddies death.
Mary did.
I loved you then, Freddie, and I love you now. I will love you forever! I miss you every day.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jim was diagnosed with HIV. Maybe that is why he didn’t leave him more money. He also was not that good with money. Mary managed a lot of his finances with his other production companies.
Yes Jim was diagnosed with hiv in 1990, I'm not sure whether Freddie knew about it or it was kept from him. The only thing I do know is that Jim didn't die from AIDs which never happened to Jim, he died from lung cancer, in the 2000s.
@@jodawson5268 No, Freddie didn' t know about Jim having HIV. He found out after Freddie got sick and he didn't want to upset him.
Still think he could have left Jim a bit more for caring for him.
she suported him when he had nothing. She remained by his side when she could just feel hurt and betrayed. She didn’t judge him. She loved him unconditionally. ❤
Freddie.....missed so much.
King of rock!❤️
RIP RREDDIE💯💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💯😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Always great..saw him live back in 70s. All your comments are moving
Mary loved Freddie ❤ and he loved her so much ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mary loved and even financially supported Freddie when he was a nobody named Farouk Bulsara.
God rest his soul in peace.
I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU FREDDIE FOREVER 🤍🤍🤍
Holy smokes 32 years ago? It.feels like a week ago
Jim only stayed with Freddie because of what he thought he’d inherit. He even posted Freddie for the house.
He loved Mary completely..just because he was gay dpesnt mean that he couldnt love her deeply. She was there for him all the time..she didnt dump him, she accepted his ways and needs..their love went beyond anything many of us would never be able to even guess at. God rest his soul.
I HATE when footage from that CRAP film is used in "biography" bits on Freddie. 🙄
Ya..that movie sucked. So inaccurate. Especially the actor who played Freddie
Movie was fun and completely inaccurate… to say the least !!!
Brian introduced Freddie to Mary, not Roger
Right. She had been dating Brian a few times, just friends.
A lot in my life has to do with my mom job!! She was taking blood from sick people!! I was 3-10 years old!!?And decided never get sick in my life!!!
a lot of BS in this video.
One of the saddest deaths in history. All these corporate shills today haven’t a patch on him, they’re junk.
Kdyby ho Mary neopustila nikdy by to takhle nedopadlo. On ji miloval a potreboval jeji lasku. Skoda Mary tolik ti zavidim ale zivot je tezky. Nikdy jsem ho nazivo nevidela mel sve chyby ale miluji ho nadevse. Spi sladce Freddie ❤❤❤❤❤
I was learning English in college in Colorado!!! At this time!!!!
God, how I miss him!
Freddie met Mary through Brian, not Roger. Brian dated Mary first.
I miss him too
Always loved Freddy ..
Freddie loved her,so she should have got his estate
It seems that Jimm was not love of his life.... is that possible that he lied in his book...?
No I don't think actively lied except about a few things, I just think he had a very romanticised view of their relationship and wanted to make himself more important in Freddies life than he actually was.
He referred to himself as "Im just a little Persian boy." Religious background and ancestral native country is Persia!
Why are you showing Rami Malek all the time? He is NOT Freddie 🙄
What Freddie said to her (and who knows if it's true we weren't there) is that "Had things been different we would have married and had kids". This is what I read.
Love you❤
In the book “Save Me” by Isabelle Howe, he did marry Mary.
How would anyone know that and when?
Peter didnt know Freddie when he was dating Mary
He worked and brought in money but probably not as much as Mary as it was not regular
From 72 they had an allowance from Trident it may not have been a lot but it was regular
They were truly soul mates
I'm sure if she would have been able to choose, she would have chosen life and health for the love of her life.
Think about if Feddy hadn't gotten this disease. What more Amasing music they would have done ! 😢 it makes me sad to think about what the world lost when someone dies before they should have.
Why do you keep showing scenes from that movie which is full of untruths
1985 the peak of Freddie's stardom?!?!? I think not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Freddie never owned any yachts! By all accounts he hated sailing.
Well done.
❤❤❤
Queen wasn't their 3rd album it was 1st.
Maybe freddie thought Jim wasn't there for the right reasons.
Nothing was said about Freddie dating Rosemary Pearson when he was in college. This wa years before he met Mary Austin.
Mary got half , his parents got a quarter , and his sister Kashmira got the other quarter !!!...BTW.......I HATED that Bohemian Rhapsody movie................
