Why doesn't GMA air Lovingly Yours, Helen ? American series in the 60's like Green Acres, Alfred Hitchcock and Bewitched are still being shown up to now. GMA should make and effort and spend to restore all of the episodes of Lovingly Yours from 1980 up to 1996 and air them again. It will really be a big hit and would even be a good show to compete againts MMK.
I talked to Helen Vela's son himself who was in charge of all the archives of Lovingly Yours and Family 3+1, and one of their major obstacles is having to re-score all episodes (i.e. you have to remove the landmark OST tracks), otherwise they will be paying huge sums for the sync rights of Ballad Pour Adeline and this one, among others. We lived in a time when shows could slap in any background music without asking the publishers, if there were no local publishers. If you had a record you bought from abroad and no one knew about it, you could use them in your shows hassle free.
