I am a member of Team Fat Boyz Fishing and this is my 1990 Bass Tracker outfitted with a 40hp oil injected VRO Johnson outboard. It has been modified to run on mixed fuel with no oil injection and it is setup for big catfish. It has Driftmaster Duo and Duo Troller rod holders purchased from BottomDwellersTackle.com. For rivers I have a homemade grapple anchor. This vido also features mu custom built catfish rods made by Black Horse Custom Rods.
I just purchased a 93 pro 16. My grandpa had one growing up so i'm super excited to have this one. Mine was owned by an old man and you can tell by the condition. I'm about to dive into making it my own.
first of all thanks for the video you have a great set up I have a 89 great boat to do just about any kind of fishing I just love the way you have it set up I do alot of catfishing tournament's and you have given me a lot of good ideas love the rod holder's and the way you ran the wiring for the batteries
Nice Setup brother, just picked up a 17 ProV myself. LU51.
Very nice! Just received a 1992 Pro 17 with a 70 Hp motor
Killer job rigging your boat man.
Stay tuned, right now I am ripping out the carpet to apply a rubberized deck coating! No more soggy carpet!
My poppa had one many years ago I was 6 or 7 years old good tymes fly I tell ya
Nice setup bro!
The Bottom Dwellers decals can be ordered from their website. The link is in the description. For the Driftmaster decals I had to call Dave at Bottom Dwellers, because the decals are not listed for sale. Dave is very prompt though. Great guy. His number is also listed on the Bottom Dwellers website. Thanks for watching!
Nice set up I want one but want a jet ski motor in it.
I have an 89 Pro 17. The throttle control had a part inside that broke and won't push the throttle now. Any idea where to buy a new or used replacement?
Good work, looks great
I noticed your IBEW bug. You got a dues receipt in your pocket? 😁
Could you do a video on how you installed your trolling rod holders?
As a matter of fact I already did. Here are the links. Thanks for watching!

Trim motor location. Can u help ..mine doesn't work
I know this is an old video but do you have a link or any info on the battery charger cable you are using?
Yeah. I got them from the local box store and they ended up getting hot. I ended up changing them to these. Inexpensive and more durable.

and used this end on the charger

The wire is low voltage underground wire. it was the same as what was on my battery charger and it was on a big roll at the box store.
That's what I say about my carpet too
Can a boat like that be able to be used in the bay or just in rivers
It sits pretty low in the water, so mostly calm water is the best place for this boat. Big water requires higher sides.
How much does it cost?
How did you get the stickers
Does youre johnson have the vro system?
Not sure what that is, so I guess not. Also, I sold it a few years ago so it would be difficult to check.
@@SeanWalkup i gotcha.well the vro is where there is a oil tank & theres a pump that mixes the oil in the gas as it needs it.it was real common on those motors.mine had that on it & i took it off & pre mixed my own gas.those stupid vro's are prone to failure.i was just wandering.good luck out there.stay safe.
@@ninjagodzilla6402 Ah. It did have that, but I rebuilt the fuel system to use premix and removed all the VRO stuff. Swapped the fuel pump to a standard premix style that was available on the non VRO models
@@SeanWalkup yes sir.thats exzactly what i did as well.my boss bought this tracker new & when that pump started to fail he could not figure it out.he even took it to a local boat shop & they tried to rebuild that vro pump.ran good for a week then started acting up again.i bought the boat for $1500.00 & its probly only got 40 hrs on the motor.i fixed it in a day.cleaned the carbs & put a regular fuel pump on it & this puppy runs great lol.you still catfishin?
I live in arkansas.i fish the arkansas river where it meets the missippi & the white.exellent catfishin.its almost time here if the dang rain will let up
it came with the aluminum lids
