Steampunk heart pendant! Polymer clay easy tutorial

- Make a polymer clay steampunk heart pendant, following this easy tutorial. Entirely made of polymer clay you don't need any actual gears or metal parts, only their imprints on polymer clay. The only things you need are black polymer clay, liquid polymer clay and metallic mica powders (silver, copper and gold) to create a basic 3 segments steampunk heart. As for the mechanical details, I used imprints that I got easily by pressing parts from a dismantled clock, a toy car's wheel and screws on small pieces of black polymer clay. For texturing the surface I used an old brush.
But, of course you can try different colors, textures and imprints to create your own beautiful Steampunk heart pendant.
Important tips: keep the basic heart thick so it won't break and make the hole on the piece and not insert an eye hook because it will distort the shape.

Thank you. I don't know what Perfect Pearls is, but if it is eye shadow, it probably works (I haven't used eye shadow ever on polymer clay but I've seen others doing it).

From a local art store here in Athens, but I think you can find metallic micas at most hobby or art stores in every city. Or the internet. I m sure the hearts will turn out beautiful.

Three and a half centimeters wide and four and a half long. But it doesn't have to be that accurate, just along these lines. Have a very creative day!
Το Thief το εχω παίξει πριν απο πάρα πολλά χρόνια (μου φαίνεται πως ηταν το πρώτο) αλλά θυμάμαι πως το στιλ του ηταν πιο πολύ medieval , ισως να εχει εξελιχθεί διαφορετικά..Πάντως και τα βίντεο σου είναι αρκετά καλοφτιαγμένα παρόλο που αν κατάλαβα καλά τα φτιάχνεις με το κινητό σου.
