    Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you, because they belong to me. I will show you where I have made my home, whilst preparing to bring justice. Then, I will break you. Your precious armoury, gratefully accepted. We will need it. Ah yes, I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit, or your body.

    This video and your interpretation means so such to me. It was actually one of the reasons I started playing a piano as I watched it 8 years ago. Now, after all those years, I can play it and this medley will always play essential role in my heart. Even now, after all these years and tons of compositions, I come here from time to time to fully enjoy nostalgic goosebumps. And eventhough you probably won´t read this, I wanted to thank you for this inspiration you brought to me ♥

    • @markfowlermusic
      @markfowlermusic  9 років тому +25

      andtutoriales yes its a great movie, I find every track on the soundtrack to Interstellar is a real treat to listen to, you get something different every time, I have not found that in his other soundtracks, The batman soundtracks are obviously genius and Inception is too, but I really like the creativity in Interstellar on the whole, the complexity of the organ sounds and integration with the orchestra is so good, the different sounds he creates for the soundtrack, like the Wormhole track are amazing, its just genius how he chose the organ to carry the music this time, such an amazing idea, a stroke of genius.

      i don't wanna be a hater or something,but this is a pretty simple arragement (and yes it is cool the simpliest things are the most effective aren't they? )every 5rd grade piano student can learn it just a bit slower he barely changes the notes ( i know i learn it right now).This arragements difficult is in its speed. So please don't compare him to Mozart. Mark is realy good a smooth pianist I admit it, But mozart? He was a genius. It is like compare your good guy high school physics teacher who also smart and knows a lot with Einstein.

    the piano in this video is the yamaha p-155 not the 105, there is a world of difference between the 2, the keyboard on the 155 is much better and so is the sound overall, its in a different league to the 105, which used to be the p95, they are just beginner pianos/entry level. And yes the p-155 does sound as good as it does in this video.

      Thanks for replying, I know about the titles in the description I just couldn't pin point exactly where and in what piece that progression is and wondered if anyone or the person that made the video could tell me.

    now now...his opinion at the end of the day is it not, I just wanted to tell he/she (if they didnt already know) that most composers through the ages and up to current do indeed use the piano for composing their music because of the range and how harmonic it is.

    I am doing the jarrod radnich arrangement next, but it needs final polishing up so there are minimal mistakes in the recording as its tricky to play 100%.

    it was made for the Nokia trailer for the movie, more than likely a re-edit of Gotham's Reckoning, bit like he did for the third man of steel trailer, the track ended up being called 'An Ideal Of Hope' (a re-edit of What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World?) but was never officially released (like the piece you are referring to in your comment, it too was never officially released on the album or any bonus tracks, and I still dont know why either, as its an amazing track.

    I have them, they were made by someone else, very nice of them I know, but I need to finish editing them, due to some errors.... I need more time to do this, been really busy recently, sorry.

  • @markfowlermusic

    I would say no, it is extremely cheap when I just looked it up on google, its about £90 which means it must be a very poor entry level keyboard, certainly not for a pianist or someone aspiring to become good on piano. You should look to spend 5 times that much at at least to get a half decent one like the yamaha p-105

    I have a very indecisive mind and can be very silly when it comes to buying pianos and how long I actually keep them for, I can never be happy you see, its not a good trait to have lol.
