Such a great detailed video from you that we have come to expect. Whenever Luan Li comes out with something new. I immediately come to this channel. You are the Lian Li MASTER!
Hi Julie Fisher, welcome back. Yup, infact I feel that it's good to have innovation. Personally, even though I did lots of content about argb, I perfect performance and thermal vs argb. It's fun to have but my choice is to stick to stealth black build 😁
@@KleoYan I wanted to have colour connected to temperature, but sadly that is not practical, so I have settled for a simple constant rainbow mix. Airflow is more important. Lian Li 216 case, top. Just need 6 more fans! Lol.
@@Jules_Diplopia This is a brilliant idea, your suggestion is absolutely practical in useage. hmm.. maybe it will be good for motherboard manufacturer to set something whereby once it indicates there is an ARGB fan plugs in, there will be a profile in UFEI / Bios to trigger these fans to show colors as a warning. Let me write to some of the motherboard branding. This way it's a feature set that comes with the purchase on the motherboard. Thank you Julie.
@@M4fian Hi and welcome to my Channel. Thank you for your feedback. The price depends on where you purchase this. Best is to search on various online shops or even your local shops. All the best with your build too. 😉
Exactly the review I was looking for! Thank you for this and I just bought the 12 light guide GPU cable and atx strimmer as well. These both look like great improvements over the V2 strimmer cables!
Hi Cobra, welcome to my channel. You are right, the improvement is infact the structure of these Strimer wireless. I did a comparision with the V2 and these does shows better details on the lightings.
Oh you did this strimer wireless, I miss this earlier, I thought you did the fans only. I was watching The Provoked Prawn but his is not as detail as yours. keep up the good work. 🥰

hi i have purchased normal cables i mean Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 24-Pin ARGB Motherboard Extension Cable and Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 Triple 8-pin ARGB GPU Extension Cable for my new pc... I want to simply ask you two questions please first one are these wireless cables any better than wired ? is there any point to upgrade to these please ? or its just a same thing ? please let me know thank you
Hi Mike4real, welcome to my channel. At timestamp 4:53 (the build on the strips are better and the lights will be sharper), 6:28 (No cables to manage) 7:44 (casting with soldered pins) 8:05 (Strips cover the actual current cable). the only issue you will encounter is to change the orientation of the 12VHPWR connector at timestamp 25:04. hope all these answer your questions. by the way, the choice is yours. Thank you!
I LOVE these cables. I'd give them my money right now if they had a 3 x 8-pin. Seems to me they cut their possible market by about 75% by not having other gpu cables. Maybe this is just the first one and more will come. How well does it work with the wired uni fans? Maybe on my next build I will go with the wireless fans but for now I would need these parts to work with wired uni fans if, of course, they make more versons of the gpu strimer. Leo, does the controller have an input for motherboard control? This is a must-have input. I wouldn't consider purchasing them without that port.
Hi Mergatroid Mania, welcome back. Sad to say if you want to control via motherboard argb application. I have tried, there are no source input to these strimer wireless, everything is controlled via L-Connect 3.
@@KleoYan That's really too bad. It restricts a PC to using ONLY Lian Li RGB products! This is exactly why I stopped buying Corsair RGB products a couple of years ago. If they won't play nice with the motherboard then that's a deal breaker for me. Right now I have 10 Unifans and two strimers in my PC with three very nice pieces of generic RGB and some RGB RAM, all syncing off of the motherboard using Armourycrate. I don't want any RGB I can't sync with everything else. It's almost like they are driving some people away from their products. PCs with parts that can't sync don't look very good unless they all share a similar effect like rainbow but this really restricts the effects you can use, making those parts not worth purchasing in my opinion. I'll stick with the wired strimers and fans I'm using now. I purchased Lian Li parts BECAUSE they could sync with the motherboard. Without that feature I would never have purchased them in the first place. There are plenty of nice parts available that do sync. Why don't you do some videos of the non-major brands RGB cable extensions available that use standard RGB connections and work well with motherboards and other manufacturers parts? Also maybe fans, RGB hubs and controllers? These are the things people will want if they want to avoid getting stuck in an expensive echosystem like Corsair, Razer and now it seems Lian Li has joined them too. For example, Airgoo, Asiahorse, Bewinner, Sirlyr, and other companies all make RGB extensions that work with motherboards and cost substancially less than the big brands. Same goes with fans. There are lots of fans out there that are not major brands, work fine and use standard PWM and RGB connections as well. I help so many people on facebook that want a good looking PC without spending a fortune or getting stuck in an expensive echo system. All this stems from a simple missing motherboard connector on most proprietary name-brand parts. They are not thinking of the consumer at all when they leave that port out. Love your reviews by the way.

@@KleoYan I think doing reviews on devices like these, and showing people how they can get very nice RGB for a much less of a price, might stir the big companies like Corsair and Lian Li to lower their prices a bit, and maybe include the motherboard connector they all need. @@OriginalMergatroid This I do agree but sad to say, when I started doing Lian Li's argb devices, I did try writting in to a couple.. Aigo, Alseye, Corsair, NXZT and many more.. none have responded.
