I think that while Australians are the kings of offroad when it comes to all things Landcruiser, Utes and off-road caravans, you boys are world class when it comes to turning Landrovers into ultra desirable off-road weapons! Well done Dave and all the team - astonishing engineering quality in every build!
I am in the middle of putting a 5.3 LS & 6L80 transmission into my 110 Defender - I would love to see more details of how you did all the little things like building the air box, how you ran the steam lines and what you did with the PCV valve? I love the clean look you created under the hood!
Loving the work, keep it up I'm keen to upgrade a few bits on my puma and you guys are definitely going to be on my watch list to run it down to you to quote
Excellent video, great LS engine lads 👍😎 hope the client appreciated all your touches to this build it was epic....dirty 130 great name 😎👍 does the winch cut down on cooling as it blocks the rad? ....is that the 3 ltr BMW engine....wheels are so cool 😎😎😎🌶️
stumbled on the channel and now im watching everything! absolutely awesome work! I'm currently in the process of finishing my 110 td5 into a rugged long distance offload tourer... however I stumbled upon something a bit worrying... the rear axle is slightly more over to the left compared to the front one. in fact the rear right tire slightly touches sometimes where the spring sits.... I've measured everything but am clueless... have you guys ever had this? can it be fixed? cheers
@@wearemahker I’m after the standard looking ones if you have them plz don’t like the bolt on look can you give me a price for a set for a 90 thank you
I'd love to see (and eventually drive) a Defender with the steering wheel (perhaps pedals too) moved 12 cm towards the centre. I know it's not simple and will take a lot of engineering, perhaps even moving the gearbox a bit. but for 50K and upwards budgets it'd be a much nicer and timeless treat than the beer cooler, which I suppose has no suspension, so it'd be more useful for non sparkling drinks, especially if using the Defender for what it's meant.
I have a 2007 2.4 Puma (110) which starting to plan improvements. When I discovered that the 2.4 was a poor candidate for tuning started to look around for engine swap outs. Any recommendations? Are some options easier than others not requiring significant changes to chassis, etc.? Any advice please. No rush as both myself and vehicle in Cyprus and big mods don’t seem to be legal here, so might have to bide my time.

Takes my vote for the #1 waste of money on a vehicle. Ram TRX in the UK would be cooler and worth more in the long run. Poseur de excellance! I love it when rich people put their lack of taste on full display;)
I can imagine so you still make these vehicles? Just in case one needed one. Is it something you are still making? If so this would be great news and I dare say no more. Am in US. I love Land rovers I own 2 but this is beyond what I have ever thought Landrover could be turned into
Oh sorry, our bad. I thought this was UA-cam, we must’ve made a mistake. We’ll switch back to a title that will attract no one to watch it. Thanks for your helpful feedback
@@wearemahker you missed the point buddy. For someone who's looking into doing a LS swap your video titles would lead the viewer to believe they might learn something useful ie what gearbox to use/adaptors/ratios/positioning... I dunno, anything really... Instead we waste 20 mins watching some muppet clean the workshop or mask up for painting. Frustrating. Awesome builds tho, just not very informative was my point.
The video is three years old. We renamed them all last year in an attempt to revive the views on the old videos. We’ve changed the way we make them now, single topics per video. Back then we threw everything into one weekly video. Please take a look at our more recent videos and let us know if they fit better
How I wish I could win the lottery and then treat myself to one of your brilliant builds be very proud they are super

Hi im Eric, you guys have given my favorite old defenders a new life 😅. Good work
I'm a lover of those bronze wheels! .... And the cool box between the back seats is a nice touch
I’m in love with this very specific creation.
Awesome isn’t it
AWESOME!! Can’t even begin to imagine how much that conversion must have cost, but my god, it would be a dream to own!!
But how beautiful is it 🥰😎
The level of detail is off the planet ! Lovin the builds, keep up the great work.
Would be great to see some d2's on the lifts.
Thanks Sir no shit leaves this shop 💪
I especially watched project 009, that is the epitome of all.
So I've just found your channel. Used to watch your motors screaming around the estate when i worked at Hawk. Keep em coming.
Thanks kev

Great video and what a fantastic job you do brilliant 👏
Keep up the good work and the videos coming
Your biggest fan lol. Another top 📹 loving it.
Done right! Galvanised chassis the way to go if you’re going to put money into a LR.
Nice work.
11:13 Guys very cool idea with 2 spare wheels! I can’t see how to get them, do they open the gate or what?
Cool solution! Custom Defender!!!
Epic build, Very impressive, Well done!
Thank you very much!
Beautifully built ❤️ it ….Powerful, well designed & executed 👍 a real beast!
Thanks Maza
Beautiful built, loving the work, keep it up, I wish you had a branch in Botswana, I would have brought my project to you

There’s always issues like overcoming airflow on these builds that’s why we fitted some mighty Cooling fans thanks for your kind words ☺️
Just breathtaking! What are those wing covers on the front fenders?
Thanks! They're made in house. You can find them in our webshop
The Posey Paws Edition - love the beer cooler!
Coolest 130 I've ever seen!!!
Awesome
Very nice Dave. Quality in every aspect. What is that product on the front wings.? . its like a chequer plate protector but a different material?
Oh man, you nailed it 👍
What a great 110, well done! Bottom line give or take, what am I in for a duplicate of such vehicle?
What a machine guys!🤩
Still my favorite build :)
What a beauty Boss
Well prepared and presented..
How much for that beauty...
Finally a reliable defender
which roof rack did you install on this 110? It looks great.
It’s a cargobear, I have one on mine, German made

Wonder what this beauty would set you back as an outright purchase. Much want.

Excellent work, beautiful 110. I assume this build is for the pavement? Though plenty of HP, not sure the low rev torque is up to crawling hills.
A supercharger provides instant power from very low down so this machine will tackle anything
@@wearemahker Great to know. Thanks!
Soo cool!!! Do you do any discovery 1/2 work?

I'd like to see a 6x6 Defender pop-top camper
We’ll add it to the list
What motor is in the 130?
Out of curiosity how much would a build like this set someone back ?
All depends on spec the customer on this occasion supplied the majority if you’d like a build please email us on info@mahker.com
how about OM642 it's fit?
Meh not bad for a bootneck 😉🤣. Loving all your builds …. Hoof’in

Any solution for defender 110 3.9 V8 engine mount?
Only to cut them off & install our adapter mount. We don’t agree with mounting 500bhp on two m10 studs covered in rubber.
