One life, live it. Life’s what you Mahker it.
Quality workmanship, attention to detail is fantastic and quality made in house parts...Far better than your Juice motors buy online part builds.
Keep the vids coming dave ,the channel will grow..
It looks like what you are building is literally the best version of a defender ever built. Best engingine best transmission, best transfer case, frame shocks and on and on, I could only dream about owning such a fantastic beast of a Land Rover! If I were to win anything, I would absolutely love a Mahker 4x4 Shirt.
Your comments regarding stainless steel fasteners is the best advice. All part of a quality engineering package. Can’t wait to see the next episodes.
Hi guys, your builds are next level. I especially like the fact how you support and highlight other businesses in your videos and builds. I'm just wishing we had your kind of businesses locally in Barbados. Thanks in advance for me winning the giveaway. They will be put to good use.
You guys are the best. I love what yous do. I wish I could get yous to work on my 130
Thanks for following along
@@wearemahker I have been for a while. I'm a huge land rover fenatic
Cracking job Dave and the team, just let down by the commando tattoo, now if it had been a pegasus that would have bin perfection.....
Hi Dave and team, again watching you guys at work is nothing less than mesmerizing. Land Rover would do well to rename themselves to MAHKER and bring us old Landy nuts back the new and improved defenders that you all so diligently build. It's an honour to watch you all at work. Keep up the outstanding work.
Thanks so much for your kind words sir
Only a minute in an already got goosebumps!! 🤯🤯🤯
Love what your doing Dave, giving twisted a run for there money!! Top work and decent in-depth videos. Keep it up!
Hi Dave and the mahker crew, love all your videos you guy do awesome work 👏 and looks like you have fun in work. Keep up the good work
Attention to detail, quality parts and a top team…..mahker difference!!
Another good vid Dave and team, I am naff with competitions and never win owt and the drive items would be no good to me but wish you could do something special to my discovery 3 instead ha ha " man, alone, can dream and make his dreams come true " good luck you 90 and 110 owners! very envious! PS Love the Mahker polo t shirts
Another amazing video, your content just gets better and better. Love the interaction with the guys and the fact they obviously love ripping the piss out of each other, which reminds me of my days on the workshop floor. It's great that you are willing to share your trade secrets, please keep them coming. I'm just about to start a nut and bolt restoration on my earlier 90, so a set of your new driveshaft flanges would really enhance the build. Keep up the great work.😎👍
Thanks so much dude and my lads banter has broken many 🙃
Made so tough even a bootie couldn’t break it!
This is probably the most relaxing series after a long day of work! Rovers to the world yes cheers from 🇹🇹
“This is where we put the puma engines” me nervously laughing as I glance at my puma 😅
You're Mahker brand is a motivator to us Defender Zen's.
Just top quality! Love these videos.
Guys, I can’t make up my mind wether I prefer your excellent choice of songs in your videos, or the sound of an LT1 under strain in a Defender. Very well done! Now I’m trying to sell the sensible part of me that I need to have a 110” single cab Defender with a Chevy LT1 connect and cruise package and other goodies in addition to my 2021 G63. I hope I’ll be convincing. 😉
I would like to 🅜🅐🅗🅚🅔🅡 my Defender 90 one day. What separates Mahker and ‘others’ is attention to each little deatails and it is not only looks it is functional too. Additionally, it is great how transparent they are about other brands they
Everyone wants a MAHKER land rover none of that twisted s*** 😂👌🏻👍🏻
Absolutely Amazing
Hello Dave and the boys, watch all your videos, you’ve got one of the best workshops I’ve seen, plus you boys knowledge of a defender is out of this world, can’t wait to have my defender done , all the best, Paul
Hi Dave, with all humbleness and respect; in my opinion, you should have been the designer of the Ineos Grenadier👍👀
Keep the work up guys. Love watching your videos. Inspires me to continue learning and working hard to get a mahker built defender one day.
Can’t think of any great one liners
Loving the videos and quality of the craftsmanship in every possible detail
Keep up the great work keeping these vehicles on the road
Thanks for sharing your hard work .
I told our lass that I had the opportunity of winning abit of free flange . She has now left me. So please send me the flanges to put abit of happiness in my life thanks . Ps would be putting them on my ongoing military wolf build and would send pictures when finished and will 100 percent be keeping the car forever and passing it on to the kids and the flanges would always be an interesting conversation thanks
Love the videos and like to see a video on installing a 12 value cummins
You have conquered the fossil fuel conversions. I'm sure the future electric conversions won't dissapoint.
You have an amazing team who go above and beyond with the attention to detail. This makes you guys the best in the defender game!.
Fantastic work! 💪
quality work chaps
Love the Videos just wish I had the time & budget for a complete rebuild! not to mention the space to do it in. One day m8! In the mean time I continue my resto bolt by staginess bolt ;)
The build quality and detail you guys get in yo has motivated me again to finish my defender 200tdi engine swap and driveline upgrades. The flanges would be an amazing finishing touch. I would love to make a review and install video for you guys from a Landy owner in the states! Keep up the great content, already planning my LS swap now 😂
good video as always i always think your exhausts are a work of art
Wonderful, my friend
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice 👍
Dave, you had the perfect opportunity around 19:47 to say look after your shaft too ;) Keep up the epic work....
Inspo behind my project build, keep up the good work! all about the attention to detail
Been following your Facebook page for a while now always a big fan of your work! Hope the UA-cam channel takes off
Absolutely the bestcl
Absolutely the best choice there is .A perfect fit.
Love that you guys thought of the possibility to convert the Defenders to electric!
Ahhh, Mahker drive flanges (drooling), so how do separate an ex boot neck from these most desirable of all ‘flanges’ ? I’ve run out of superlatives to distinguish this episode from all the brilliant content you’ve already shared, perhaps I play the brother vet card, [nah to cheesy], so the only thing I can think of is just say “Thanks Dave”, for having the passion for Land Rovers that we all share, but for going the extra mile and doing something about it, and for pulling together the most excellent “dirty dozen” (no idea if there’s more or less than that), team of lads that just work so hard to put together THEE most incredible vehicles I have ever had the pleasure to watch being built in an atmosphere of sincere leadership and intelligent direction.
I think this is the best comment so far 💪 I will decide at the end this month thanks for the awesome description dude I love all my lads 💪

Gotta beat Oli…😮
MAHKER me happy and send me some flanges for my Military 110 rebuild. Great flanges from a great company. Keep up the great rebuilds and videos.
Love the quality. This would liven up my 1987 V8 county!
Those red brake calipers are a look sexy, but, not as sexy as the drive flanges if they were fitted to my series 2a 1965 land rover, keep up the excellent work on my favourite vehicle, many thanks, you lighten my day with your banter with the lads, typical ex forces,it makes the videos a joy to watch.
Those drive flanges would certainly fix the oily tears of sadness my 30yr old caps leave all over my wheels at night. Give them to me!!!......on second thoughts, maybe not. I'd only have to do the rest of the jobs to bring it up to the same spec. Great content as ever, keep it up!
Your vehicles look and sound outstanding. The mods are well engineered. I own an Australian Army "Perentie" 4x4 Regional Force Surveillance Unit Vehicle fitted with 4BD1 Isuzu Engine and LT95A Transmition. It is ugly next to yours. However, I love mine and congratulate you on yours. OOutstanding men.
Your mounting kits “Mahker” the install seamless! Top work as always guys 👊
We now need all the Defender modifiers to do a Top Gear style show down, testing 0-62, braking, handing and off road durability, quality of finish / install etc.
Lay down the challenge Dave!
I like the sound of this ….

There are a number of companies doing various engine conversions, lets see who really makes The Best 4X4XFar
Will be the biggest showdown on UA-cam for the Landy World!
Love watching the vids guys! Gives me lots of inspo to improve my 08 puma 110! Also my drive flanges are looking pretty gross ;). Cheers guys keep up the awesome vids and builds!
Mahker, the Shropshire secret that is soon going to explode. You guys are exceptional, the evident passion, commitment, and sheer skill show how much you all love your jobs, reinforced when Dave fantasises over, the beautiful exhaust Y section.
"Have you got a big of lube Sam" ?
Well can you explain me what else it looks like 😍
@@wearemahker No, you were spot on!
Step 1. Get yourself an Chevy V8.
Step 2. Watch Mahker and end up letting them do it.
I would love a tasty V8 def, I'm a new in this world having just rode motorcycles all my life. I'm looking for something new as my knees hurt. I may have to discuss a build sometime soon!

From ancient Moroccan sand to the wonders of Shropshire land,
Makers at Mahker graft and swagger,
To bring us the mint of Landy gold,
True tested for world adventure!
So I'll crash any bank, steal and slaughter to gift their wonders for my trucks future!
It's going to be the dog’s bollocks of a Defender!
Good job
Do it right, do it once, springs to mind. I could give those drive flanges some proper winter testing up here in NE Scotland with muddy/rocky farm tracks, snow and salty roads they will be put through the mill.
Just watched this during work time f****** well worth it 🤯 brilliant episode never fails to amaze f******outstanding engineering🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 keep it up Dave and the team. 👌🏻👍🏻 Oh Chris any chance you can do 2 videos a week for 1-month that would be🤩🤩🤩🤔
Mahker - always offering protection for your shaft...
I haven't seen a more perfect bare chassis laid out since Kate Winslet had her kit off in that famous scene in Titanic
Do you guys offer a kit for of the ls or lt engines to convert at home?
I'm throwing a Ford V8 in a 1951 Series one body on a RRC frame and knows what it takes to make this kind of work. Difference is I'm butchering it together and you guys are really buildig it together. 😉 Attention to detail is splendid.
Fascinating video. I'm looking at installing a GM LH6 5.3L aluminum block into a Hybrid Land Rover 109 pickup I'm building. Lots to learn here.
Excellent, professional production.
The F1 of Haynes Manual in reverse.
If Carlsberg did Landrovers....
Just spend my life savings, kidney and dog on a Landy series 3… I need what you’re offering to get one step closer to making it more like MAHKER
It would be good if you's can show us what magic you's could do with a 4.6 rover v8, allways enjoy the content
Another great video! Not watched any for a few weeks, but thoroughly enjoyed this latest one.
With reference to Marsland chassis, how would you compare them to the army Wolf chassis? Also, you mentioned electric motors, is something that you are looking to invest in any time soon?
Cheers to all of you at Mahker 🍻
Great video as always. I get the ATB diff I run them in my disco 1 but why would you put one in the transferbox as it has a locker I’m already?
Love seeing your builds they look absolutely incredible, off to Africa for the Budapest to Bamako rally next month in my 200tdi, have had so much inspiration from yourselves with building mine 😍 keep up the amazing work!
Adorava mandar o meu Land 90 300tdi para essa fábrica de sonhos

Just come across the site bud... Hoofin! L322's 03 Td6 RHD, 05 4.4 LHD, 12 5.0 SC LHD. Defender next. Royal in Canada.
Hi Dave n team !!
Great work and videos, I can’t believe the quality of the engineering and attention to detail.
However whenever there’s an external shot of the workshop I keep seeing a couple of Range Rover Classics in the background (my dream car). When are we going to see your plans for them and some work being done on them please ??
Cheers guys !!
They are in the waiting list Sir 😬
Excellent stuff yet again Dave, you need to convince the MOD to convert the Wolf Defenders to LS/LT for the Royal Marines. How cool would an LS3 WMIK be?! :)
Totally agree Mike but would you trust a Bootneck with a Ls3 😀😀
@@wearemahker Ha Ha, Good point, a .50 cal and an LS3 might be a bit too much!
When do Sam and Christian get their own spin off show?
Don’t give them ideas (CHRIS)
i will rumble the tuscany hills with the Scram90!!!
Guys guys guys guys guys ya know....guys? 😂
I have a defender 110 that needs a v8 I want you guys to mahker it happen. Go on you gotta laugh. 😂
Great video. Can't wait for the next episode. Is that a brand new LT1?
It sure is brand New sir
@@wearemahker Thank you sir.
This is my entry for the top comment… “giz them drive flanges”
Keep up Noel, this was like 10 episodes ago!
@@wearemahker damn! Next time!
It’s about time you came back and paid us a visit. Come on a Thursday when we are shooting the Vlog (Chris)
@@wearemahker in the USA right now. Back for Christmas!
@@NoelMack there on your new estimate dude don’t worry 😘
I think you should stick the skip on a rolling chassis, but I guess Jeep have been doing that for years 😂😂
The only time I like a dry flange is when it's on my 110!
Hi Dave,
Is the heavy duty 6mm rear crossmember, on the Italian guy’s Rover, is that made by you or is that available to the general public. If it’s not made by you then where did you get it?
Thanks.
Do me a favor I love your channel and have worked on Land Rovers since the seventies on and off my knees are goosed why because I did what you do kneeling down on cold concrete use pads or something to save your knees or trust me you will regret it mate love the channel
When will an LS kit be available on your web site for DIY?
Best comment….. Q Club Bordon
I STILL NEED TO KNOW WHERE CAN I GET A TEE SHIRT?! 😂
I’ve had enough, so I’m taking early retirement in Q2 2026 so can I book a build slot in that year to rekindle/refurbish/rebuild my Puma 110 to include air suspension, roll cages, 335D upgrade and some other cheeky upgrades once I’ve sold our house before moving to Spain? If you reserve the build slot and guarantee not to sell me any additional upgrades that I don’t need but will probably want, then I’ll buy you a beer the next time you pass on your way to Morocco…
I am curious if the 130 in the background has the A444 private plate as a nod to the queen’s LR? Given your military background. Or am I reading into it too much?
Unfortunately this is a private plate 🥹
Is this available over night on my tab at Harry's?!
Forget about the drive flanges just send us that truck over to oz
Those drive flanges look sexy. What spline count are they for as I think the would look great an a LR Perentie which I believe has a outer spline of 24. Anyways, love watching the vids you guys make.
Hi 🖐, I am about to swap Ls 5.3 for my range rover classic with Lt77 and transverse box Lt 230 , what is the best ratio for that?
I’d say 1.2 ratio t case sir
'Step 3" exhaust silencer... what are you doing ?'
This seems as easy as putting a Holden 308 V8 (OldSchool) into a Series IIIS 109.....Need proper drive flanges to contain the power
