Monalogue- Regarding the lawn w all white crocuses, I suggest you add VERY FEW colored crocuses. I don’t know how many you have total but maybe add about 7% colored ones. You will still get the effect of the masses of white (your original intention) but with a little twinkle of color. If you add more color than that, it will look like all the others; not unique. Thanks, great video.🌸
I'm very inspired by your crocus lawns, so sweet and delicate in the landscape. Adding one more color of crocus to your Joan of Arc patch would be very pleasant. Everything is lovely.
Your garden is like being transported back in time, where the pace of life was far more gentle, governed by the seasons. It really reflects your personality, a very peaceful and calm place. Thank you for the escape you give to others through your videos.Take care, continue to feel better
I am quite enjoying your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your garden with us. I have numerous amounts of snow drops and purple crocus around our cottage gardens. I personally like the mix of white and purple for spring. It is soft and romantic. Also the burst of purple is lovely to see coming out of winter. Our native bees seem to love the purple flowers more.
So happy I found your channel! I think it would be nice to put just few soft purple crocus in with the white. I really love it being mostly white though. I am going to share this video in all the gardening fb groups I'm in.
So glad to hear you are both recovering from back to back nasties. Wonderful Crocus, Primroses, Hellibores. Your garden is really developing. Well done 👏
Mine are all out too and my other plants are coming up. I hear you on not feeling well. I have been struggling with allergies and asthma flare ups. Your dress is lovely btw. I was excited to see you had a video up.
Your garden is looking beautiful! The crocuses are lovely, and thank you for sharing them with us. It has been so cold, and there have been a lot of viruses going around. Hopefully, it won't be too long until things warm up. You are right, it's good to have this quiet time before the growing season is in full swing, and your garden looks full of promise. I love the idea of having an area for hellebores. I have only a few, and would like to add more.
I’m glad to hear you are recovering from your illness and injury. Wishing you and your family a speedy recovery! You and your beautiful garden truly inspires me. I want to plant the Picwick crocus this fall. I live in Maryland USA. 😊💖👋🌸
I love to see your magical garden in bloom this spring, and I love seeing the ducks as well. My your spring be sunny and your days warm. Get well very soon.
So beautiful your crocus especially the pickwick crocus is a dream with its big flower sen i also have in my garden inspired by you i mixed the Crocus Jeanne D'arc with purple color and it looks lovely to mix. I wish you a wonderful day and I love your garden.
I’m so sad, I live in north Sweden, and I can’t have half of the beautiful flowers you have in your garden.. I have to see most of it as one year flowers and need to plant them next summer again! 😵 You have an amazing and beautiful garden!! ❤❤❤❤
I love your cottage garden and crocus lawn ! It’s lovely to see things spring to life in your yard ; especially since we are under a blanket of snow . It snowed heavily here in Oregon , USA Today . Sigh……. at least it is providing us with much needed moisture !
Yes!! It was wonderful to see you again after so long. The other day, I saw the "short clip" of your crocus garden, and it made my afternoon anticipating more to come another day. And today was a fine day to see you and your happy garden, even though our crocus garden has only begun putting out leaves here on the Olympic Peninsula's north coast. We hope that you will continue in health as you give us all more to look forward to in the coming weeks!
absolutely stunningly beautiful, just what is needed to boost the spirit, thank you so much for posting!!! the crocus lawn is just magnificent, I have a diamond bed in my front lawn that is full to the brim with crocuses, I just love my little corner so much. thank you for lifting my soul with this beautiful video!!
Your video just popped up as a recommendation by UA-cam,, I love this time of year with all the new shoots appearing and the beautiful spring flowers ,, what a lovely voice you have 👌🏽
Perhaps a Hummingbird Crocus or Snowbreaker? I'm so glad you are on the other side now and feeling better. 💐 Your Spring garden is as magical as ever. Oh and I would add in random pops of purple but not too many within the white ones.
Lovely to see the crocus lawn. I was inspired by your crocus lawn last year and planted some pickwick variety too! Only thing is the patches I done look a little bit uniform, the bulbs were scattered but each individual patch looks a bit straight line. They also seem quite tightly packed. I'm v glad I put them in though, they look so pretty and I cant wait to sit amongst them and see the bees :-)
The lighter one looks alot like crocus Barr's purple (Crocus tommasinanus) and darker one reminds me of Ruby Giant. I have collected like all the crocuses i could grow where i live. Love them since they are one of the first to flower. Ok snowdrops are first and winter aconites but after them :) Also envying your carden we still have mountains of snow in estonia.
Lovely. I need to add primroses to my yard. I've never even seen a yellow hellebore before. I agree that adding another soft color would soften the white crocus
Oh that yellow hellebore is gorgeous! Love it. The crocus lawn is stunning. You inspired me to put some in my lawn and though it looks patchy and a bit sad this year , I'm hopeful for next! I'm also holding off on the tomatoes. Maybe next weekend...
Oh my, your garden is sooo beautiful! Amazing work! So inspirational 💚 I thought those white crocuses looked just stunning, but adding some soft lilac ones could also be quite magical I imagine. My window cills are currently filled with tons of seedlings, high hopes and additional grow lights. Here in Norway spring tends to be quite elusive; it has been nice and spring-like this week, but now we are facing temps down to -8 again (💔😭)... So seeing your garden today gave me some hope haha! Thank you for sharing and hope you feel your best again soon 🌱🌼
The purple crocus is probably the Crocus tommasinianus 'Ruby Giant' (a confusing name - they are not ruby and not giant). They are really beautiful, loved by pollinators and naturalise easily by seed. Love from Holland!
Love seeing all your bulbs coming up while down here in New Zealand we're just beginning to think about what bulbs to get in this autumn! Definitely feel inspired to try some crocus this year!
This looks so lovely! Where I am in Canada, the only fresh white thing on the ground right now is snow. Looking forward to spring and seeing more seasonal changes in your garden! 🥰
Such a beautiful garden, it's amazing what you have achieved. Personally I like just the white Joan of Arc crocuses as they are, but I'm sure whatever you decide will be good. 🙏🏻 for your recovery and good health 💐
You have such a beautiful garden! My hellebores are just starting to bloom here in PA, USA. But we keep having little bits of snow and ice here and there which is a bit depressing but they seem to persevere. Happy spring!
Your garden is so lovely! My bulbs are just starting to come up now, so I'm looking forward to some beautiful flowers. I'm incredibly jealous of your early last frost date, I'm in Michigan US, (practically Canada) and it's basically two months after yours
I just planted the dark purple crocus @monalogue ! As soon as I planted them though, all the flowers fell off :( I bought them already bloomed at a garden center.
I'm so inspired by your garden even though ours is a boring blank canvas (overwhelming!). Do you have any tips on where to get bulk bulbs for crocuses? I want to make sure I have a plan so I don't panic buy closer to the time in autumn. Love these videos and glad you're on the mend 💕
Really enjoying your channel as a new subscriber ❤ it’s been really useful too as I wasn’t sure what we had in our garden and we’ve got some hellibores!! I just did a bit of reading on them (keen to get some more!) and read that they are toxic both to touch and in-jest, do you take any precautions when planting/caring for them at all? Xx
Hi Mona! I loved your video on spring bulbs 🤩 Spring is just my favourite season! Lovely garden you have, I will definitely like to follow. I myself planted my first crocuses (120) in autumn, a mix of colours in our front yard, so exciting to see Them appear. I think you will have interest in this video about dividing snowdrops, and how long it takes for them to multiply. Best regards Bestinterestua-cam.com/video/rD8-pR-hq0c/v-deo.html

Lovely spread of crocuses. 😊
Весна пришла в этот нежный романтичный уголок! Спасибо за возможность увидеть Весну!!!
I'm very inspired by your crocus lawns, so sweet and delicate in the landscape.

absolutely charming.
So wonderful to see the garden coming to life with spring lovely! The crocus lawn is just a dream, beautiful work ✨💜
Thank you lovely 🥰🥰
Crocuses are my favorite bulb!

Your cottage and garden is beautiful
Beautiful crocus, love the larger Dutch varieties
I am celebrating ❄️The End of Winter! ❄️
I enjoy each Season!
So glad to hear you are both recovering from back to back nasties. Wonderful Crocus, Primroses, Hellibores. Your garden is really developing. Well done 👏
Thank you so much ❤
Truly a natural beautiful garden love from India!
Дуже гарно! Я доповнюють галантуси бордюрними ірисами та пролісками- дуже ефектно виглядає )
Beautiful 💜
Happy to see people living an idyllic life such as this.
Beyond charming.
Mine are all out too and my other plants are coming up. I hear you on not feeling well. I have been struggling with allergies and asthma flare ups. Your dress is lovely btw. I was excited to see you had a video up.
I love the yellow and green hellebores!!! They are gorgeous! So glad you and family are better-the garden is coming alive! Thank you for sharing!
Great gardening advice; and also good advice for life - "enjoy what you have now". 😊

I agree that the white comes off stark. So, YES soften it.
You have a beautiful garden!
Sigh… u r as lovely as the flower😊❤

I love England 🥺 wanna go there
Beautiful 🧡 NB 1st Year they sleep, 2nd Year they creep, 3rd Year they leap!
very nice dear queen
The wicker fencing is so precious. I’d love to see how you mend/maintain the borders. You create magical curves in the garden 🪴

Lovely. I need to add primroses to my yard. I've never even seen a yellow hellebore before. I agree that adding another soft color would soften the white crocus
Greetings from the Netherlands! I adore your garden! It is like a magic garden from the fairy tale ❤
❤ your manner for the nature 👌🙏
I agree a little color with the white will help set it off against the silvery/gray of the tunnel
Hmmm… the solid purple color crocus might be Crocus sativus, if so, you can harvest Saffron from them. That would be a very nice thing!
Beautiful tour. I think adding purple or lilac crocus to the white ones would look great and differentiates from the white snowdrops.
Oh that yellow hellebore is gorgeous! Love it. The crocus lawn is stunning. You inspired me to put some in my lawn and though it looks patchy and a bit sad this year , I'm hopeful for next! I'm also holding off on the tomatoes. Maybe next weekend...
Your garden is looking enchanting. Our garden here in NW Wales is full of flowers but it is snowing today so I hope everything survives!
Awww 🥰 looking good.. my snowdrops were fab but crocus I have about 5 in my woodland garden ..😀 MUST plant more (said in Bridget Jones voice 💫).

The pale lavender is probably "Grand Maitre". I had the same one mixed with Pickwick once and was trying to identify it, this came the closest
Your garden looks beautiful! Perhaps to soften the white you can add a soft pink
This looks so lovely! Where I am in Canada, the only fresh white thing on the ground right now is snow. Looking forward to spring and seeing more seasonal changes in your garden! 🥰
The soft lilac one could be a crocus tommasinianus. I hope the sunshine and spring will make you feel much better.

Thank you so much for your comment and for the well wishes 😊 I’m pleased you like the crocuses as they are too. 💕

очень красиво!
Cant believe how much further ahead your season is than New England! Our daffodils are just starting to emerge smh
I just planted the dark purple crocus @monalogue ! As soon as I planted them though, all the flowers fell off :( I bought them already bloomed at a garden center.

May I know what kind of duck that you have please,
They look beautiful. Hope you get well soon. Thank you
Are you growing the very early blooming "tommie" crocuses? Mine have spread so well into the grass.
Btw the little picket fence behind you did you make it with individual pickets or panels if so where from ? I want to do the same. 🌟
🌼🌼😊
What’s the name of your yellow hellebores?
Your Hellebores will provide you with loads of seedlings for free.
My crocuses are so heavy they just flop over before they've even fully opened..
Hi Mona! I loved your video on spring bulbs 🤩 Spring is just my favourite season! Lovely garden you have, I will definitely like to follow. Sativus blooms in the Fall.
