- Now that we have entered the month of March the garden is really starting to wake up and more crocuses and flowering every day. Here is a tour, so you can enjoy our crocuses and other early spring bulbs and flowers. Hope you enjoy :)

Monalogue- Regarding the lawn w all white crocuses, I suggest you add VERY FEW colored crocuses. I don’t know how many you have total but maybe add about 7% colored ones. You will still get the effect of the masses of white (your original intention) but with a little twinkle of color. If you add more color than that, it will look like all the others; not unique. I am quite enjoying your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your garden with us. I have numerous amounts of snow drops and purple crocus around our cottage gardens. I personally like the mix of white and purple for spring. It is soft and romantic. Also the burst of purple is lovely to see coming out of winter. Our native bees seem to love the purple flowers more.
Happy to see people living an idyllic life such as this.

Your garden is looking beautiful! The crocuses are lovely, and thank you for sharing them with us. It has been so cold, and there have been a lot of viruses going around. Hopefully, it won't be too long until things warm up. You are right, it's good to have this quiet time before the growing season is in full swing, and your garden looks full of promise. I love the idea of having an area for hellebores. I have only a few, and would like to add more.

Lovely to see the crocus lawn. I was inspired by your crocus lawn last year and planted some pickwick variety too! Only thing is the patches I done look a little bit uniform, the bulbs were scattered but each individual patch looks a bit straight line. They also seem quite tightly packed. I'm v glad I put them in though, they look so pretty and I cant wait to sit amongst them and see the bees :-)
The pale lavender is probably "Grand Maitre". I had the same one mixed with Pickwick once and was trying to identify it, this came the closest

Beyond charming.
The lighter one looks alot like crocus Barr's purple (Crocus tommasinanus) and darker one reminds me of Ruby Giant. I have collected like all the crocuses i could grow where i live. Love them since they are one of the first to flower. Ok snowdrops are first and winter aconites but after them :) Also envying your carden we still have mountains of snow in estonia.

Yes!! It was wonderful to see you again after so long. The other day, I saw the "short clip" of your crocus garden, and it made my afternoon anticipating more to come another day. And today was a fine day to see you and your happy garden, even though our crocus garden has only begun putting out leaves here on the Olympic Peninsula's north coast. Hmmm… the solid purple color crocus might be Crocus sativus, if so, you can harvest Saffron from them. That would be a very nice thing!

I love your cottage garden and crocus lawn ! It’s lovely to see things spring to life in your yard ; especially since we are under a blanket of snow . It snowed heavily here in Oregon , USA Today . Sigh……. at least it is providing us with much needed moisture !

Oh my, your garden is sooo beautiful! Amazing work! So inspirational 💚 I thought those white crocuses looked just stunning, but adding some soft lilac ones could also be quite magical I imagine. My window cills are currently filled with tons of seedlings, high hopes and additional grow lights. Here in Norway spring tends to be quite elusive; it has been nice and spring-like this week, but now we are facing temps down to -8 again (💔😭)... So seeing your garden today gave me some hope haha! Thank you for sharing and hope you feel your best again soon 🌱🌼
The purple crocus is probably the Crocus tommasinianus 'Ruby Giant' (a confusing name - they are not ruby and not giant). They are really beautiful, loved by pollinators and naturalise easily by seed. Love from Holland!

Oh that yellow hellebore is gorgeous! Love it. The crocus lawn is stunning. You inspired me to put some in my lawn and though it looks patchy and a bit sad this year , I'm hopeful for next! I'm also holding off on the tomatoes. Maybe next weekend...

Beautiful tour. I think adding purple or lilac crocus to the white ones would look great and differentiates from the white snowdrops.

You have such a beautiful garden! My hellebores are just starting to bloom here in PA, USA. But we keep having little bits of snow and ice here and there which is a bit depressing but they seem to persevere. Happy spring!

I'm so inspired by your garden even though ours is a boring blank canvas (overwhelming!). Do you have any tips on where to get bulk bulbs for crocuses? I want to make sure I have a plan so I don't panic buy closer to the time in autumn. Love these videos and glad you're on the mend 💕

Your Hellebores will provide you with loads of seedlings for free.
I just planted the dark purple crocus @monalogue ! As soon as I planted them though, all the flowers fell off :( I bought them already bloomed at a garden center.
Are you growing the very early blooming "tommie" crocuses? Mine have spread so well into the grass.

I myself planted my first crocuses (120) in autumn, a mix of colours in our front yard, so exciting to see Them appear.
