I’m new to Ampero but I’m beginning to understand it more through listening to your channel. I have QSC cp 12 PA set up in my lounge room. So I’m front house. You go into some great depths. Im really struggling to get a good tone out of the ampero. On its own plugged directly into an audio interface, it sounds awesome with my custom IR but when I use it on a live setting (plugging it to the return of an amp and turning off the cab sim) it doesnt sound as good and usually gets covered by the other instruments. Any tips for this?
Hi! Let me just clarify. Your live setup needs to be going into return of amp and without cab sim - did I get that right? Is this because you need to use high gain amp modelers from the ampero?
@@AaronSopungco Yes that is right! I want to use the high gain amp modelers of the ampero live so I plug it into the return of an amp to bypass the amp's preamp.
And then you mic up the speaker?
I made use of this setup before. I suggest you turn on your cab sim as well. This will solve your tone concern since it will then be similar to hearing your set up through an audio interface and studio monitors.
Try by increasing the patch volume at 100, default is at 50 and it happened to me same as you described, it gets buried and the output is low compared to other instruments. Setting the patch volume at 100 did the trick for me.
