I'm shocked ya'll don't like trout fishing.. it's probably very very close #2 to Largemouth here in Southern California...Probably a billion dollar industry locally. As for Trout size, you have to fish here in the mountain west. As you can see in my picture they get pretty big.

I don't even fool with fishing for trout till March. My area gets 8 to 10 inche trout till almost season is over

Yeah those stocked trout down thermound wv taste like cardboard and there meat is mushy
