Hello. I grew up on Ballentine Road and was the paper boy for all of these houses you showed.....MANY ARE EXTRODANARY ESPECIALLY THE TOWERING CORNER ONE. It has a wonderful mosaic Spanish tile entry as that's the only part I would see when I would come collecting my delivery fee. My friend Ben's Grandmother lived in the house you pointed out at the top of the street and across from that was my friend Matts house in which I spent so many days and nights. Please show the castle 511 Hawthorn and the stone colonial that my friend Peter lived in and also my first love Lesli lived in on the corner of Hawthorn and Second. Thanks for a literal walk down memory lane. Sounds like we might have some past lives in common. Not sure.

I’m go glad! You wouldn’t necessarily want to see the castle house. It’s in disrepair, especially the inside. I saw it 8 or 9 years ago and it was heartbreaking. My grandparents that lived on the street were B.F. and Johanna Leonard. They owned the Home Laundry and Leonard’s Linen Service.

Place where masses extend their youth with huge study loans for life...

Getting educated in a great little town doesn’t sound too bad. This country needs free education, like some countries in Europe. But I doubt that happens anytime soon.

Probably not in our lifetime anyway!
