Looking forward to seeing more videos from you guys and also hoping the new series of Château DIY comes out soon with episodes including you! Cheers from Canada!
Fantastic transformation so far. It is what the old building deserves being brought back step by step. I cannot wait till i drive past some day in future and see the changes externally compared to my memories of old.
Its looking absolutely stunning! Love that the window is there to honour the origins of the mill. Sorry theres so much ignorance and arrogance in the comments, lol. I don't know how you refrain from telling some commenters to gtfoh. Thank you for sharing it all with us ❤️🙏
Just noticed a big crack in the wall outside on the left side of the door whilst you were filming outside, taking the door out….just in case you were unaware.
Do you have a lot of traffic coming around the mill? You don't have much of a sidewalk. Where will your front door be when you are all finished? Parking?
There are a few cars on route to the next commune but nothing too serious. The stairs in the main picture will be the main entrance with stairs going down both sides and handrail. We park I the land opposite to the mill which we also own 👍🏻
What an amazing job you have done sofar. The door finishes the look. I wonder if you feel a bit open to the public with the large window. Beautiful road renewed quite envious, UK full of potholes. Looking forward to seeing indoors. have you got use to the water noice? 🇬🇧🇬🇧🍷🍷
@@MoulinCouesnon thank you for your explanation. I expect there are a lot of restrictions etc with this sort of property. Your imagination is amazing. Sure the locals are pleased to see this area tidied up. 🍷🍷🇬🇧🇬🇧
The new roofs are beautiful - but sorry, I have to say, that window is way too big and far too modern for that facade - it looks completely wrong and makes it look like a shopfront, not a private residence. Sorry, I am a fan, but I despise fawning and insincerity. It's not too late to change it
Hello. The large window is the Race window and the Planning Dept and Bâtiment de France demanded that the window was this size so the old turbines could be seen - we where worried about the size also but it’s nice to see all the old working of the Mill which will look even better when we clean them and install some lighting x
@@MoulinCouesnon Sorry for the offense. I didn't know that - that will actually be wonderful to see the turbines. Please forgive my uninformed opinion - you know I love the building and the whole project. Thanks for replying
@@JenJen-bp3bb Oh well I dare say you've made plenty of horrible comments. And no doubt you attach a childish emoji to really express your view. But do you ever own your horrible comments and apologise? - probably not
Why not do a proper channel? Dan from Escape to... went on a course to learn the basics and how to put a vlog together. Would love to follow your renovation properly. Fingers crossed 🤞
We do our best to provide updates as and when our time allows - we are full on working on the Mill and unfortunately don’t have spare time for anything else x
Do you think they have time to do a course to satisfy your viewing needs, with a 'proper' channel? Lol. How offensive, fingers crossed? The comments today, far out!
Thats one hell of a job - those doors looked bloody heavy!!

That’s a very old crack which needs to be repaired. Happened over 50 years ago when part of the bridge collapsed.

@@MoulinCouesnon thank you!
Not sure what lens you have on the camera but it’s not the most flattering.
Should have corrected the rounded edges in post but perhaps one day we will be as proficient in video editing as we are in diy 😉👍🏻

have you got use to the water noice? 🇬🇧🇬🇧🍷🍷
The large window is of the Race / old turbines which we will light up eventually - it was a request also from Planning xx

Why the reeded glass with such a view and no neighbours opposite ?
Lots of walkers and people use the road/walkway in front of the mill
What sort of setting are you filming in? Everything looks like it’s filmed in fisheye, hard to watch.
Strange no one else has had that issue x
@@MoulinCouesnonThat's what I saw, plus the maximum resolution seems to be 480, which is quite low and loses a lot of detail.
@@MoulinCouesnon Yes, there is a bit of a fish bowl to some of it.
Donna have you been stripping back the stone?
The outside stone has been power washed to get off years of dirt xx
