@@4kt_38s I have a Euhomy for my small room. When it gets very hot (40 degrees Celsius or higher), I use it with my central AC. If you have a bigger room, make sure you get the most powerful version, since these portable ACs are weak in general. They need to be used in conjunction with the central AC in your house.

In Michigan we see a lot of porches or decks converted to three seasons rooms with the same problem www.retrofoamofmichigan.com/blog/insulating-three-season-room-with-foam-insulation
Question I live in Florida it doesn’t get cold at all. I bought a portable ac 14000 btu and I have to vent it. Since it is hot air can I just vent it into the attic? My attic is huge. 9ft ceilings. Or do I still need to insulate the attic floor over the garage. I have roof vents periodically throughout the roof. Plus the soffits are vented
I would say the winter is easy as a cold room can be over come by wearing clothes and sleeping in a duvet. Summer. Good luck. With temperatures in most of America hitting 90-100s and even with ac on at 72 degrees blinds and a ceiling fan, its still high 75 -76 in the room. not good!
I have a portable AC and the main AC working simultaneously in my above-the-garage room in the summer. It becomes ice-cold!
That's awesome!
What ac u recommend

My master bedroom is directly above the garage and it’s hot in the summers and cold during the winters.

My room was originally a porch and it gets cold when it’s winter and in the summer is really hot

I wouldn't recommend venting into the attic. It is best to vent the air outside.
@@RetroFoamofMichigan ok good to know. In my situation is it worth insulating the attic floor
If you insulate the attic floor, it could work to keep your treated air in the garage.
Ok thank you sir
No problem at all. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
It’s cold 🥶 in my room in winter ❄️! Hot 🥵 as heck in summer ☀️
The opposite for me lol
The « room » over the garage is my master bedroom, it will be my first winter in this house. Bonus, my garage is isolate
