I lived in Australia for a few years and Perisher had an 8 pack. We would have our lunch at the top of the lift just to watch the mayhem of 8 people trying to get off. 8 mostly Australians who have not seen snow before…. Pure magic 😅
@@kodyadams5561 I can book the ticket online for 275 for tomorrow through bigsky site... no need to yell, if you pay on site it usually is higher at any resort. Clean energy chairlifts? If you say so . . I was astonished to observe that the story wasn’t polluted by the usual drivel about climate change or the futility of investing money in a doomed winter sport. There is still hope for you, Montana!
This lift is OK. What they should’ve done is realign the lift so it goes to the top of Lone Tree, which would greatly unlock Moonlight Basin, rather than take two lifts for each lap
@@j-ep6700 Yeah. Just stay there. I did it too. Lying to myself for years... Skiing the windblown up in the dictator shutes or Bavarian Forest. Pretending it snowed. I'll be skiing 18 inches at a time which is something you will never experience. Maybe at Bridger sometimes.
@bfranco1519… no worries! Oh yeah my 70€ lift ticket is also way better. Very simple to figure out… North America gets better snow totals. European resorts a) are much larger, b) have superior lift infrastructure and c) better cuisine. For those of you who give a damn about “Après Ski” Europe wins by 1st round TKO.
@@bearclaw5115 you are not correct in your assumptions. The model for all of the mega resorts is a simple one. Get as many people on the mountain in a 7 hour period regardless of safety and quality. PERIOD. JHMR my backyard resort is a joke because of this model. Destroyed by greed and ignorance.

What is it with this generation dropping consonants from words, as in "mountain" comes out "mau-ihn"
Or another common one is important which is now impor-ant. But like hey man language is sooo like changing all the time riiiiiiiight?
Dang, that’s a game changer for the Madison side, so so cold over there some days with zero direct sun

What’s up with all the buzz kill comments?
Probably locals, not loaded tourists
Automated safety bars is very necessary for Americans
You can dump millions and billions. But you will never have real powder. It will never really snow in big sky, Montana.
I had a 10 inch pow day in early December already. Watcha talking about
@ I lived on the mountain for a decade. Stick around you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about about.
2013 season was basically unlimited powder. That was peak.
You said no real powder. I’ve lived there for 20years and you are clearly delusional… or just really bad at skiing

I find it amazing that people are cheering for a lift that increases the amount of people on a run by 200% every few minutes. Ski resort are a joke.
You have way too little information to decide if the lift can over-capacitize the available terrain.
