So I made them as I said I would, with raisins. Long story short. I can now make these with my eyes closed (usually at 2 in the morning). My husband enjoys a couple most days so… he bought 4 bags flour and always ensures I have raisins 👍😃
@@nchimunyanyanga2660she didn’t add baking powder because she already used Self-Raising. *If I’m not mistaken* I think you add about 2 teaspoons of baking powder to normal cake flour to make self-raising flour. I could be mistaken though, please search, you’ll find it on Google ❤

@@VanessaThomas-o4j Im just saying, Some places in Africa had rockbun about the same time or It was even after Jamaica since Jamaica was a colony of England. Rock bun is from there not Africa. It was proposed during world war 2. Thats way after slavery had been abolished.

If you use self raising flour there is no need to add baking powder. Self raising flour already have baking powder.
