We all love you Jason, Lorraine, And Penelope ❤️❤️❤️praying you Butcher those Pigs 🐷 before you move to the new Homestead I can just see those pigs 🐖 running down the interstate 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🐖
When I was growing up we raised a lot of pigs, we lived near a lipton plant that made the dehydrated soups. My Dad would go and buy 55 gallon drums of pea soup, chicken soup and chow mein noodles. We would mix the soup powder up into a thick but slightly loose base to put in with the feed, then top with noodles. Our pigs loved it, grew huge.
Hello STL Family. Great intro, lol. A happy pig gives you a great harvest. Glad to see you are feeling better. Happy to see y'all having dinner together and sounds delicious. God Bless y'all and the farm 🙏✌❤😊
My Dad used to soak his pig feed too. If the pigs didn't eat it all when he brought house scraps down he would stir it in with the feed they would eat it all because it was mixed together and they wanted all the "real" food lol.
Why I choose to watch your channel: you are a simple hardworking humble person and I love your content you put up God bless you and your family Regards from India
Hi Jason, on the thinner wall chicken feeder, you can always put two end blocks in the middle to stiffen the side walls which will eliminated the flexing.
i love and respect you and yours , makes my day , i may not ever be a homsteader but live in your life thru your videos as if i am , praying for you always
Hey Jason so glad you been feeling better, you have been in my prayers and will continue to pray for you till you are completely made whole again. I watch Justin as he has been on the same diet and that he is feeling allot better as well. But the past few days he had been pet sick. But he is starting to feel better, I enjoyed every video that you bring to you tube. Enjoy following your journey, to you getting better to what is happening on your homestead.
I discovered something about celery. If you cut off the ends and put them in water and put them in the refrigerator they will become very crisp and almost sweet. Give it a try and let me know how that works out for you. I use a quart jar or larger if I have a lot of celery.
Pigs are so clever! We just started training our own pigs and I was just as surprised as you to how quickly they get used to it! Your girls look happy and cared for :)
Your garden is fantastic! What a difference this year. I'm happy you seem to have found the secret to your land. It's so much more controlled and not overgrown. You keep those little pigs clean and happy. I'd much rather eat what I know has been cared for humanely. They are God's creatures also. Thanks for sharing that part with everyone. Blessings
Great video. I like that you showed the difference in pipe thickness of the feeders. Those tips help us not make same regret. Chicken broth sounds good.
My KuneKunes learned to respect that same premier1 fence pretty much instantly. They tested it once and never again. Pigs will dash forward if they are shocked behind ears (like their belly or butt) but they will back up if they are shocked on their noses which is why that fence is designed the way it is. It's all about the netting being at the right height so they test it with their noses.
it's only a good day when we can see Jason Loraine and miss P. Glad your skin is better I totally get how painful Eczema is, keep up the great content! bonne Journee! from Gatineau Quebec !
When my dad had his farm the milk truck did double duty. It picked up our cans of milk and would leave us with a 55 gallon barrel of whey. We mixed that whey with the pigs feed and it was sloppy. Of course this was before they found a use for whey so it was free. The cheese factory would drain the whey into a ditch if customers did not use it all. You could always tell if there was a cheese factory coming up just from the smell of that whey.
Absolutely love watching ya'll and learning more tips n tricks n stuff in general!! Would you mind sharing the random of your netting? Getting our first feeder next spring andsoooo excited!! But want to have all the things ready to go yanno. Thanks again for your amazing content!
I wouldn't leave that fencing inside the pigs stall over night in that way. They might get up in the middle of the night (if it's dark) and get tangled in it.
I'd put in twice as many cups since there are so many chicks in the mobile coop. Food scraps = candy. If you touch the fence while it's charged you will know if it's working. LOL
prices are un believ able unbelievable i have been looking in your state, too. was looking last year, and now just looked again, and just about fell over. have family that live there. just got example from them in their simple neighborhood -- whaaaaaat????? crazy prices.
Man those pigs will get tangled more in that pile than they would outside. .You have them fairly tame the should come for slop even if they were to get out.
Take your pots with you. I love you and so appreciate you and your choice of FOLLOWING GOD AMEN. HI TO LORRAINE'S MOM AND DAD. YOU'RE GREAT TEACHER'S. You should never leave plants or buildings or animals when moving if there is anyway to take them ...leaving things is like throwing money n work time invested, away...!!! Take it all unless its concerted into ground ...n these days eith modern tools ,you can pull out posts n concrete ( knock off the concrete m use the post again stone place ....time spent well in saving lots of money !!! Extra work never broke the bank !!!.....glad your feeling better , you look better too !!! Bkesss y'all
I worry about the pigs getting into the piled up fence and getting tangled up. Can you put the excess fence over the side of the pig shelter so it's out of the way?
Lorainnes pot dealer...😂😂😂.. I laughed so hard

Greetings from Philippines...
Yez Jason,we feel loved...as much as the Sisters 🐖🐖💚
I have a double pot method where an empty one gets buried in the ground and a matching one that’s planted goes in it. 💕 my pots!
I like that idea! you get the best of both worlds that way.
Can't wait to see you again at the HOA conference this fall!
it's only a good day when we can see Jason Loraine and miss P. Glad your skin is better I totally get how painful Eczema is, keep up the great content! bonne Journee! from Gatineau Quebec !

Love you all and your videos
Love your channel Jason and the clean feeder bowls.
You inspire me.
Good looking chickens! Time to order vacuum bags for harvest day. Ebay has good deals on 100 packs. Makes packaging after parting out so easy.

I love your channel I love that you are genuinely king & real
yeah..some channels are going Hollywood and are so boring
That’s a great idea!
How about mixing their feed with the scraps, that way they eat both. The scraps will make the feed taste a bit better to them. :)
We ran pigs in about 5 acres of bush with electric fence watch when they start rooting dirt up against the fence will short it out
He moves the pigs too when he puts them on grass so they usually don't dig a lot and they are on the hill.
It may be time to get a premier one gate…
Great video!
Great Stuff Brother
Hello from the Philippines😀
Great vlog!
Maybe trade out the tougher trough to the Cornish
Absolutely love watching ya'll and learning more tips n tricks n stuff in general!! Would you mind sharing the random of your netting? Getting our first feeder next spring andsoooo excited!! But want to have all the things ready to go yanno. Thanks again for your amazing content!
We love u too.
When I was a youngster our only pig feed was table scraps. Thank you for not cooking slop. That's just gross.
Not the pot dealer we expected but the pot dealer we needed
I wouldn't leave that fencing inside the pigs stall over night in that way. They might get up in the middle of the night (if it's dark) and get tangled in it.
nonsense
You should check out CLOUD BREAD. It is made from eggs
Love your channel
Can you use electric fence and energizer meant for sheep and goats?
Put that chicken skin in the skillet and get it crispy. Season and YUM
I'd put in twice as many cups since there are so many chicks in the mobile coop. Food scraps = candy. If you touch the fence while it's charged you will know if it's working. LOL
Where do you get your garden cover to keep away the weeds?
We used to get day old bakery products from a local bakery. Once they have that they don’t want feed either.
I'm dying... Loraine has a pot dealer!! 🤣🤣
Jason, could you wet the pig feed and mix it with the leftovers?
That might make it more attractive to them while getting them a faster growth rate.
Pot deal has a couple meanings now 😄
prices are un believ able unbelievable i have been looking in your state, too. was looking last year, and now just looked again, and just about fell over. have family that live there. just got example from them in their simple neighborhood -- whaaaaaat????? crazy prices.
you might find yourselves going back to calif.
Which of the Premier 1 pig/hog netting fences do you use ?
Man those pigs will get tangled more in that pile than they would outside. .You have them fairly tame the should come for slop even if they were to get out.
👍
If ever there was a metaphor for the human condition, when the Cornish crosses scramble to get back into their cage
😎

How did you know I needed to learn how to do this?
Lorraine's pot dealer.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I did that year before I put my house up for sale divided and potted all my best perrenial plants ...love your videos just long enough some who post 30 min homestead videos the videos are full of drawn out filler
How long do the big red broilers take to raise?
They usually go 12 weeks because they don't grow as fast as the Cornish Cross.
How much chicken can you eat..?
100 a year. 2 chickens a week + giveaway some
Please drop a link to your "pot dealer" in the comments section below! 👍🏾🤣

Luv the content..
Maybe switch out feeders ?? From monsters to chill & chill to monsters.lol
🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
I worry about the pigs getting into the piled up fence and getting tangled up. Can you put the excess fence over the side of the pig shelter so it's out of the way?
it would short out, those pigs nt go near that netting now
Your soaked feed looks too dry, try adding more water.
Pigs like slightly sloppy feed
Make a feed scraps soup
If they get shocked in front of the eye they will go back behind the eye they will go forward
J R would call you a crazy chicken lady
Why they don't carry chickens 6 weeks instead of 8 weeks?
Why don’t you swap the chicken food troughs?
I stopped also... lol
LOL… I want a pot dealer!
