Part 1: • Ne-Yo on Being a Man B...
Part 3: • Ne-Yo: When Did it Bec...
--------
Singer Neyo revealed that his hit song "Irreplaceable" was initially written for himself, but he eventually gave it to Beyoncé. He explained that the lyrics - specifically the line, "I can have another you in a minute" - would have come across as arrogant if he had sung it himself. Neyo recognized that the power of a lyric is often found in the messenger, and a woman delivering those lines conveyed a sense of empowerment. The conversation then shifted to the idea of gender roles and equality. Neyo expressed his belief that men and women have their own places in society, not in a restrictive way, but in terms of certain tasks and responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of men being able to protect women when necessary, acknowledging that women don't always need protection, but it should be available when they do. The conversation concluded with the notion that society is becoming confused about gender roles, which is leading to a loss of clarity and identity. - Розваги
This is exactly the problem with double standards and women. I don't think women realize that they're emotionally manipulative whether it's intentional or not. As a man I'm a physical threat and women use that against us.
I think both genders are capable of it.
@@sharonjo7630😂 Damn for once jus 1 time can y'all take responsibility for what y'all are doing wrong. Yes we can say the same for both genders, but that's not what this video is about
@dvvnn33_92 nope, because you're trying to agree that the female gender is moreso capable of emotional manipulation compared to a man...when the truth is that both are capable of doing it. Neither gender is more of a threat than the other in that area.
As for men being a physical threat, that is very much so held to the men to be more responsible in that area because they are stronger and men have used that as a form of intimidation forever. It's not even a debate.
males constantly mention emotional manipulation and yet can not specify how women have manipulated them.. in life, your mind and your due diligence is your responsibility, no one else's. if you as a man are easily manipulated, then you need to level-up your psychological defenses. The BIGGEST issues impacting society today is the violence and hatred males display-- ya'll are k!lling everyoneeeee and anybody due to your heightened emotions.. You're right, as a man you are indeed a physical threat that has to be managed closely-- if we dont, then society at large is in danger. Turn on any news station right now-- ya'll behavior is the primary issue and on full display.. and this is across all races!
If Future came out with a similar song in 2023, the streets would be on 🔥! Neyo ain’t got that dog in him.
Facts
That's because people expect future to be trash. Not neyo...even despite his personal life.
Like he said it depends on the messenger

Damn bro. Men need a foh anthem now more than ever lol. No pigeons wasn't strong enough to handle this out here today lol
Let Future know since he clearly don't give a f^ck 😒
That shit still go hard
You ain't never lied. We need a anti masculine female, anti tattoo bashing anthem.
Ne-Yo is right whether you want to agree with it or not. The double standard is not right, but it is what it is. Giving women anthems that demean men is a money maker. You can play it on the radio and in the clubs and no one will think twice. This is also why I don't listen to women that squawk about percieved mysoginy when they outright trash men on a regular basis.
FACTS❤
Man I miss being a kid jamming to this song on the radio! I used to here this everyday on the radio! and I would be like turn it up!
So it’s ok for a woman to sing it?🤔🤔
I honestly think It's fine for both to.
yes it and a GREAT job was done
Backwards society
Society is unfortunately like this
@@PrincipalSkinner3190too and to aren't the same
Every woman in the world needs to read that headline twice...Ne-Yo wrote Irreplaceable for HIMself! You not that cute lol
Still got that pussy, try live without it
Big facts!!!
gloria velez has a podcast!?? oh shit! video girls are moving up!!
1:03 - 💯 screw double standards!!!!
"I can have another you in a minute. A matter fact, he'll be here in a minute."
Honestly, I always disliked that lyric. Neyo said he couldn't use it for himself because it would come off as mean.
Yet, not too many women could get away with that lyric without risking offending the guy to the point of aggression/violence.
I can't be the only one that feels this way...
You won't be probably the only one to feel that way but I don't. The key is to never put any female (anyone really) on a pedestal. Gotta have the mentality of a pilgrim and be ready to move on in case a woman acts out.
This dude is a politician. He just said let women say I can replace you then say he don’t believe in equality. Yo Neyo which is it
He also said men pretty much can NOT get away with saying they can replace women...
2:14 - 💯
respectfully i think he was just paranoid. if cry me a river and u don’t have to call were hits for timberlake and usher i’m sure he could’ve released irreplaceable with no problem.
Always simping and putting women on pedestals. He should have sang the song HE Wrote just to hear the man's perspective.Stop worrying about offending a certain sex.We are EQUAL RIGHT?Stop spoon-feeding grown women (adults).
He was trying not to offend his fanbase because that's how he makes his money.
People so quick to say, "Stop worrying about offending "...shush. there are people who think about consequences.
It’s Kool When They Do It Smdh 🤦🏾♂️
I always thought Robert Palmers “I Didnt Mean To Turn You On” was a great “slight” of a song to women.
Cherrelle actually sang that song first. I like his version but her version is my favorite.
@@jacluv7862 sure.. but there is something that could be considered uncomfortable when that same song is coming from a man, especially today..
What's funny human LL Cool J has the same shaped head under their hats
I thought it was because LA Reid thought it sounded like something a woman could sing. Which story is more true?
Honestly, a majority of women couldn't get away with saying that line in a real situation without risking her safety.
It's a messed up line regardless of gender because it's implying that whomever recites the line was probably cheating on the other. I don't think neyo thought that through...
'This nikka gayyyy" ~ Riley
I remember years ago he said it was a country record at first. What's the real story?
he’s said several female artists turned it down before beyoncé so it probably was a country song at one point.
Why tf is it ok for a woman to say it, what the actual fck? This is that mindset that is making these women think they better than men. I lost some respect for neyo with this one and I'm his biggest fan literally.
Why does Beyoncé have a co-writer credit?
She probably added a piece here or there...
@@billycarter1798because of her name when you're big enough you can get credit off songs that you didn't create
Ikr? She's a talentless troglodyte.
Neee yooo has no right to tell anybody how to parent. Maybe he needs to look in the mirror to reflect on his judgmental ways. SMH
It's so stupid that anything can be deemed as misogynistic. The song is about kicking someone to the curb for doing you dirty. It's not like it's about any form of violence .apparently men are the only one that do wrong i guess😂😂😂
He should have used that song. What do you think most rap songs are about? Hoes. The song sung by a woman makes a misandrist and it's the same thing.
A white executive probably told him he sounded like a misogynist 😂
Nah! They are the ones that encourage the behavior!
Why white? He sounded pretty eloquent in explaining his position on it. Didn’t sound like someone who simply followed orders.
Wow. Kinda wish i hadn't seen this. The dialog is problematic, for sure🤨🙄
Misandry
I have no interest in this interview at all but her shirt with no bra got me watching every clip
Damn I thought I was the only one 😂
LOL 😂!
Sucka
I’m not liking the podcast format tbh.. I know glad making more moves now but damn I been a fan since he was using pornhub music for the openings😪
