Great video, man! Black lug nuts are an option you can get, just to confirm that for you :). The price jump from Stingray to Z06 for the C8 generation is pretty massive, but you’re also getting the first ever completely bespoke engine for the Z06, and pretty much a race motor. Having the most powerful N/A production V8 ever made, and likely will forever remain that way is worth the price of admission alone imo. Having a car that will absolutely hang with a 992 GT3 RS on the track, and beat up on other $300-400K and above exotics is just awesome, even if a Z06 owner never touches a track.
For me, I’m gonna have to get a Z07 one day. 2LZ, carbon fiber everywhere, carbon fiber wheels etc, and take it to a track regularly!

@@2020matrix8 Completely agree, and you’ve got a beautiful car man! The C8 Stingray absolutely took the world by storm when it first came out, and I still break my neck when I see one on the road. It’s a DAMN good car across the board, it’s just that the Z06 is in a different category comparatively. The latter is just that different and that special, and it will be the one to have, and the one that’s sought after the most in years time. The Stingray is wonderful, but the C8 Z06 will definitely go down in history as one of the automotive greats.
You post this everywhere about how good the ZO6 sell the Stingray if it’s that bad . Don’t worry soon everyone will talk about the ZR1 and say how much better it’s then the ZO6 . I always laugh when something new comes out everyone says how bad the older one is 😂
@@aramistaboada5696 I don't think anyone here said to sell the Stingray for a Z06, or that the Stingray is suddenly a terrible car just because the Z06 is out. Is the latter car considerably better than the base car? Yes, and you would hope that would be the case. Doesn't mean that the Stingray isn't a great car and more than enough for 98% of everyday people.
I would hope that the ZR1 will be better than the Z06, considering that car will easily be in the 200K range. However, what it won't have will be the LT6/high revving N/A motor of the Z06, which will likely make that car more sought after in time.
IMHO, i knew the $60K price was kind of a joke. I've loved the Corvettes for years. It's sad that they have become so expensive. It is what it is. Thanks for the review. Your ZR1 looks amazing!!!

Base Stingray is now selling under MSRP. So compare a well built $90k stingray versus a similar performance 911 S. Stingray looks much better but with a bit less interior refinement and driving dynamics but you saved $60k.
I was lucky enough to get a z06 with the z07 package last year up in Canada. We also bought my wife a c8 stingray at the same time. We live in Chile but we flew up last October and received both Vettes at the same time. It was so cool. I love these cars and they have been issue-free so far. Great video Wheeler, enjoy the ride.

So what do they say when you go to order that part you want when customizing the car? That part is just completely unavailable, or do they say you will have to wait “x” amount of time?
The part is completely unavailable. Once your order comes time to build, if the part is unavailable, you just can’t get it. You only have about a week to spec your car once your order has been pulled for production, so you don’t have the option to just wait until the parts available.

This car is lightning quick at the 5000-6000RPM range.
You might be confusing it for the Stingray.. I happen to have both. The Stingray falls on its face after
100 mph. The two cars couldn’t be any different, literally night and day!
The Z06 even out performs the Huracan.
Def not slow, not sure why or where you would hear such a thing…
Slow compared to say a hypercar or 1200 built race car maybe, but not in terms of similar level supers, no.

Corvette is definitely not obtainable for the normal blue collar worker anymore lol especially with this insane inflation and interest numbers.I’ll just stick to my c7 zo6 and continue to mod it until the wheels fall off🤷🏿♂️
