He knew how to write songs, sing songs, and entertain fans. You can't ask for more than that. RIP and prayers to your family. You live on in your music.
Doug Supernaw was a genius! The way he wrote songs was like no other, I knew him and his whole band from the mid 90’s on, Kenny Jackson on steel, Alan Huff on piano, Kenny King on bass, Joe DeLeone on drums, every one of them fantastic musicians, RIP DOUG, RIP JOE I miss y’all brothers!!!🤠🤠🤠
Met Doug at the Alaska State Fair... Was invited into his RV for the Preshow radio interview and then during his concert invited onstage to sing... So awesome! Great guy and band!!
I saw Doug at Kelly”s State Line Idaho in 1993 on a Halloween weekend. His band was all dressed up and they were so personal. Doug walked around the tables and sang to all the drooling girls including myself and friends! I’ve seen many many concerts including a great lineup of Tracy Lawrence, Reba, Travis Tritt, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Young & Kenny Chesney to name a very few and to this day I have to say the his concert was the best of them all. Im sad to read of his passing. I’d never heard. RIP Doug and my prayers to his family.
So sad that he had passed away, he was from my home town in Bryan, Texas. I had opened up for him with the Santa Fe Band at the Melody Ranch in Waco, Texas.
I’m so glad Doug got to taste the success that so many performers only dream about. While Doug was greatly underrated he definitely left his mark on Country music and on the hearts of many. RIP dear Sir. So many of us loved you and your talent.
Loved Reno & State Fair ….i really liked Doug’s music. So sad he left us way too soon. I pray one day in our lifetime Cancer will be totally curable. Thank you Doug for the gifts you gave us and left behind.
Down-to-earth honest man trying to do the best he could with what he had and just a real man in life living the dream and doing what he had to do day today God bless you Doug rest in peace!! You won't be forgotten
Doug has an awesome voice ! So sad he died of lung cancer . He will live on with his wonderful songs we can all enjoy go fly and sing with the Angel’s Doug we will all miss you !
I can’t say a thing against Doug but I really wish that band had spent more time rehearsing! They are constantly off beat, coming in to soon and all around sound very empty! You can even see it in Doug’s face while he is singing. He is getting frustrated. Livingston, Tx misses you, buddy!

Hard livin' on full display. Hope he got it back together. Loved his music, but this sounds more like Karaoke than the actual artist.
