I love how I had absolutely no idea what this story was about… and then as soon as you mentioned them making a video set to “lonely” by Billie Eilish my eyes widened to the size of bowling balls and I INSTANTLY knew who you were talking about

also i think that spam of "daddy" and "bark" might just be them having a breakdown to the situation i am not a professional but i had moments when i say some weird stuff on main over stress
This video really educated me. Even though I'm not into drama, I do see lots of drama content just be for entertainment than attempting to aid the situation. I also didn't even think about impairments when it comes to others thrown into these situations, this helped me open my eyes. Also, love your fit, gives me 21 Pilots vibes. :p
For me the main issue with debating nowadays is due to bias, religious ideology, and morality bias I would love to get into a civil conversation about controversial fetishes but its hard when the peraon makes assumptions about you and tries to call you a hypocrite and finds your fallacies Social media ruined debating imo
the real problem with modern debate is the captialization of said debate. often times its not even about the views, but the money in which someone could earn by holding that belief.
As i probably have adhd or smth, i didn’t focus so naturally, didn’t understand ANYTHING from the video at all, except one thing, which is some people not being able to debate. Just wanted to state that I personally could NEVER do it purely because i genuinely am afraid of angry people, especially if they yell. Please don’t yell. Please. It’s traumatizing. Anyways, THANK YOU for mentioning that people with anxiety can’t always do it and that it’s fine to not debate if you can’t defend yourself. (My wording is terrible and probably this sounds way different than what i mean but whatever, it’s late and i’m tired, leave me alone 💀)
It's easy to get swept up in the moment but the truth is ideas don't propagate anymore by who wins an argument or debate, ideas today either spread because they're presented in a viral way (the "formula" for which changes constantly) or because they're pushed out by groups with the resources to advertise to masses of people at once. This is one reason I look down on call-out culture even for people who arguably deserve it, you can get 50,000 people angry on Twitter and it has as much impact on the world at large as one shaker of salt tossed into the sea.
Yeah.... Red Husky's actions after their initial response weren't the best. I remember seeing it as it was going down and thinking "ok so they're just going to take a break from social media to step away and get some air. Cool, take all the time you need." Then the Daddy and Barking tweets went out and I'm like "Omg they've gone off the deep end. Just leave the internet for a couple of days or something, come back and actually talk about it with people." Then the singing one came out and just facepalmed. Look, I like Red Husky. I think that they were attacked for no actual reason other than "we don't like them". I understand that having to talk about things you don't want to talk about publicly can be uncomfortable, but you need to clear the air. Oh well. At least they didn't pull out a ukulele
I believe my videos are the better form of debate. Where you walk through the vibe of the topic while ensuring there's a lesson at the end. Input for such videos means more thoughtful discussions in the future not just what's the most entertaining. Cause the red husky drama is a symptom of a larger problem that will take a lot of time to dismantle
You spent a lot of time talking about the use of drama, and specifically about how and why people should debate, and completely disregarding the fact that people so not need to respond to any request for debate, for any reason. You are not automatically in the wrong because someone accuses you of something and then you choose not to debate with them or their friends. That's a really toxic mindset to get into, and absolutely makes me think of the debate bros stereotype that you reference.
The problem is that sometimes people will assume the accuser is right if you do not provide a response. E.g. Kwite lost subscribers before he made his response, and there were even a few people who didn't watch it at first because it took so long to come out
@@BryanLu0 I've been in that situation before. I've found that a lot of folks who are most vocal are set: they either defend or attack you, and will use whatever you put out to fit that narrative. Plus, as you pointed out, many people will make up their minds before you even respond. I'm not pushing back on responding, but I'm pushing back on the messaging that you *must* respond, and take all allegations and people making them seriously. Some people and some allegations are not worth the effort at all. Some people make and spread drama and allegations for reasons that have nothing to do with trying to call out abusers or make some difference.
Personal, I have no right or wrong with Furries but with what Acheeto be saying (definitely not giving an idea for your next "Drama" Video) he probably got something on you.
I had a feeling I knew who you were talking about as the video went on, and I won't lie I was one of the people that glanced at the initial chaos, just assumed the accusation was right and moved on. But honestly even after its all been clarified to be someone else trying to falsely deplatform this person, I can't help but look at him with that lingering feeling of just... "ugh, it's him again" He's pretty close friends (I think) with one of my favourite streamers so he appears on those streams occasionally, and everytime he does I tune off immediately. On one hand, I wish I could shake this feeling of disgust towards this guy who I already know now was false accused of the thing I thought he did, but on the other, the way he acts in the present still kinda bugs me and I don't know how to react to all of that.
Not what I expected when I clicked on this vid Lmto. Although I agree that we shouldn’t really focus on turning everything into entertainment (if that that was your message)
