It's Your Version of the Project ...Love it, You Knocked It Out The Box!!!! Point Taken, YOU BOTH HAVE INSPIRED ME (yet again, another version) My Version!! That's what crafting is all about...Trying to duplicate, what you see but with a twist of YOU and the materials You Have On Hand!!!Believe me you are never boring, specially when you go into "mumbling mode" it's quite entertaining to me ;)!!! Enjoyed the video, can't wait to join you next time!!
I love Pintrest. I've seen so many beautiful and helpful posts there. The button looks good, but I liked the real one. It looked very good on the flap of the envolope. I love a little sparkel !! I think you did good. I would have cut the black flower in half to look more like hers though I do love your tag. It's just as good as hers
Fun project, Tina. I ended up making two more shallow pockets above, on the top half of the tag and loaded them all with bits and small tags. Used two of your background sheets from a few kits ago to make the envelope and extra pockets. Love how it turned out. Love yours, too, but I had to go with what you sparked, lol.
I often go to Pinterest for ideas as a newbie - I sometimes feel guilty for copying ideas but try to justify that my materials are not exact so of course my end product is not a duplicate. Love this tage and although so very similar yours is your own. It's how we all learn and grow as crafters.
Thank you so much Tina, I really really love 💕 this, and I really really think 🤔 that yours is absolutely stunning and gorgeous and better than the other one. xxx Mags
Hi Tina, my name is Vicki and I have watched you of and on for a couple of months, and rudely (from me) I haven’t left a thank you to you. I enjoy your videos and projects and look forward to what is coming this year. I will endeavour to be more polite in future. Grace & peace, Vicki (AUS)
Oh thank you so much Vicki, and I understand completely about not commenting. I am normally doing other things whilst watching, so please don’t feel you have been rude, I completely understand. Thank you though, nice to hear from you and I am looking forward to lots of fun this year too x
Love this demo, similar but you have made it your own - perfect, another crafty session is called for this afternoon. How I wish I had a house cleaning fairy to do all my chores for me so I could lock myself away in my craft room and play. Oh well one can dream 😂🤣
I love the idea of getting it stabilized with glue on the paper first. Im always slipping and the cut is wrong then. Great ideas here too for using Pinterest. Thank you for, your lovely work and awesome ideas. Now a new subbie.
Lol your file folder piece blended in on hers , the hole-ly thing as described below can be achieved by a hole punch by punching holes on paper, the other option could be a die that Tim H has a 3pk of dies, went to look for the package and of course misplaced it. Your tag turned out great 👍
I thought it turned out great. I have to give you points for trying to completely copy someone else’s design. Especially from a photograph and not seeing the actual item.
I don't know why you tried to stick so closely to the picture. There were so many changes you could have made to make the tag even better with your materials. For example, I think the inspiration tag had 3 pockets, one under the envelope, one under the buff strip, and a third under the book page. I will try the same tag and see for myself. It is only inspiration after all. Not a direct guide. You're did turn out really cute. I do love it.

Your sewing isn't botchy, I think it lends itself to the vintage feel. You did a marvelous job!

Thank you and great suggestion for punching the holes in paper, now why didn’t I think of that!? X
Love your take on the tag. Great idea. You mentioned rusting paper clips previously. Any chance you can do a session on that? It sounds interesting.

What a fun challenge to copy the tag! I couldn’t find this one on Pinterest, any chance to get a link? Thank you either way. This was fun to watch!
I tried to link this, but I couldn’t seem to link just that tag I’m afraid x
Shabbydabbydoodah Okie Dokie thanx!
