Thanks for the video! I'm planning a 3 to 4 day trip around Cinque Terre departing from Florence. Should I search for trains to the other villages (e.g. Monterosso) or is there a specific reason to start from Riomaggiore as you did? Thanks!
Hi! You can organise your days however you prefer. We stayed in Riomaggiore for our first trip here by default: We booked our accommodation late, so we didn't have a lot of choice. Plus we needed parking!! You can also stay in La Spezia if you think you might want to explore other nearby places like portovenere, lerici, tellaro, sarzana. All of which are fantastic local towns with historical, artistic and cultural offerings. There is so much to do here and I'm so glad you've chosen a 3-4 day trip to get to know the area.
