I get smiths attitude, it’s along the same lines as to why I can’t watch people like Syndicate now, I grew up from 15/16 watching and loving his vids (I’m 30 now like he is), but now I’m an adult with a mortgage, watching rich people spend money I actually find really distasteful and I can’t stand watching that kind of stuff, I can’t remove my brain and watch ‘trash tv’ stuff anymore, rich people spending money or being given stuff for free for the sake of advertising angers me beyond belief.
i can get the external viewpoint that snooker & test cricket are boring. these things take a lot of time up and there isn't a lot happening on the screen at any moment. but equally, as someone who has only just recently found these two games/sports so fun & interesting, the very fact the viewing experience isn't bombarded with action on-screen all the time is the reason it's so entertaining. i don't like shorter formats of cricket like T-20 (limited overs, results in higher "action" hits etc) or pool (i'd say the equivalent T20 for snooker) because conversely i actually find that boring for every ball to be either a massive 6 or a wicket. for me t20 is like force-feeding yourself chocolate just because it's chocolate, test cricket is like a lovely long run followed up by a pint and a kitkat. test cricket is balanced and doesn't lend itself to a hyper-attentive watching experience, it builds atmosphere and naturally ebbs and flows in comparatively more exciting breakthroughs. the same can be said about championship snooker. i say this as a twenty year old just giving an honest opinion on these games/sports that are often perceived as boring. i can totally get why people can see it as boring to watch, but i think possibly its the novelty that appeals to me so much? a good cricket test or snooker final is way more complex than it initially appears. unfortunately, both are sorta dying out because of the way the world is going with attention spans. i'd love to hear anyone else's views on these longer-format sports that are usually considered boring.
Putting Robin Williams as commentator for sports reminded me, that we in Denmark actually put two famous comedians to commentate synchronized swimming. This was on national television, during the Olympics. It was great and a lot of people watched it! However, it was only done one year due to people practising the sport got annoyed that they weren't being taken seriously
The Reality TV discussion made me think of TOOL's Vicarious. Maybe Unkel Smaffy isn't quite as bad as the subject of that song, but the discussion reminded me of it all the same.
Walter white was not desperate. At the start of the series he is offered to have everything paid for. He refuses because of his ego, from the beginning. He admits it himself in the final episode “I did it for me, I liked it, I was good at it, I felt alive”
i get that same anxiety from the seeing a lack of communication on reality shows
One of my best friends is on the GB Archery team. He’s crazy strong takes a lot to pull back the bow.

Should do a tier list of the most boring sports
And then re rank them once tasers are added to the games
@@luiginotcool Id watch baseball if the outfielder could taser the cheeky cant stealing 3rd base.
I think Social dedication games are watched for the people in them. An Australian fashion model became famous for his time in Survivor.
Will become a member when the lads drop tabs, film it and we get Hat Trips
GOOD DAY !!

You have to be careful with r/combatfootage smith. That sub went full right wing rat hole.
Can we tone down on the anti-american xenophobia, and straight up bullshit, it really shows your ignorance.
