Yeah totally agree. I had an expander on the snare to reduce hi hat bleed and just went too far with it. Sounding ok on the studio monitors but it was the first thing I noticed too. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
So graceful, with power and precision! Loving the creativity with the 6” LP! What do feel stands out the most between the USA Customs and the Brooklyns?
Thanks! I’m loving those little LP’s! My Brooklyn has totally different sizes to the USA so it’s hard to tell. As far as build quality goes they are both exceptional. In theory the Brooklyn sizes are fixed (I know people who have special orders for Brooklyn though) so the biggest difference is really the customization of sizes and colour. In a blind test I’d be hard pressed to pick them apart… for now at least. Broadkasters on the other hand are from another planet. Completely different. I’ll try and do a video on talking about the three lines 👍
Hi Glenn, can I please ask you to notate out how you are playing that opening fill? It is so cool! I am having a hard time making out what you hands and feet are doing together. Thank you!
@@GlennWilsonDrums do you by chance make your backing tracks available without drums? Be great to play along to. Also, have you done a bio type video where you walk through your journey on the drums? Be cool to watch.
Hello, this is the guy that talks about snare drums a lot.. I bought Gretsch WMP 14x6.4 USA snare maple/gum w/ 30 deg bearing edges. Sounds killer.. love the sound of the snare you are playing also!! What it that? The Keith Carlock snare?
I need to get that snare Glenn but I usually get a great deal on snares but I have to order it & if I do I need to pay full price & I rather wait?? lol
Have you seen the Ludwig polar phonic snare? It’s made exclusively for guitar Center & I rarely buy there but had to have it but got a killer deal because it was new but open box!!
Love it when the snare is tuned to the root note of the tune. Way cool!
🙏 A producer I work for is a stickler for that… it’s rubbed off 😂 Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
Outstanding, great technique, style and feel.
Hey thanks. I appreciate it! 🙏
Wow!! Amazing playing and the drums sound fantastic. Great work.
Great music man! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
Great sound for sure. That 20 inch swish is so nice
I know right! It’s my favorite. 22” as well, though I would love a 20”.
sounds amazing, other than missing hearing the snare ghost notes... gating? Seems like it is only getting in to the overheads.

Awesome Glenn, thanks. What do you think about the Room Simulator so far...or too early to tell?
Pretty great! Lots more goofing around needed though 😂
Glenn, if you had to pick your overall favorite line of drums, would it be the Gretsch USA Customs?
I’m in the honeymoon period with the USA customs so hard to say. Maybe I’ll do a comparison video?

You sound great Glenn!! What sizes and evans heads are you playing. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Hey David, thanks for checking it out. This kit is 10, 12, 14, 16, 22. I’m using clear G1’s on the Tom’s. Coated G1 on the kick batter 👍
@@GlennWilsonDrums Thank you for sharing the information Glenn! Are the depthsof the rack toms 10x10 12x10?
Yes, that’s correct 👍
What snare is that? Everything sounds fantastic.
Thanks! That's the Gretsch Keith Carlock Signature Snare (GAS5514-KC)
Can you please let me know what type of Paiste light ride and what size? Thanks! Sounded great!
No problem. This is a Paiste Twenty Light Ride 22” 👍
What is that little drum between your snare and first floor tom? It sounds excellent! Everything sounds excellent, for that matter :)
Hey Thanks! It's a LP LP846-SN Micro Snare 6". Pretty cool huh? Im really digging it.
@ Very cool! It jumped out as very complimentary to your overall sound. Fits right in and plays a really cool role. Really nice use of it! 👍
