You have certainly inspired me to try and bring those little Christmas trees to life. Every time Olive showed up, it 0:58 gave me a good laugh. She is adorable 🥰 !
To make a taller tree you can also use a long dowel rod inside the metal stem of the tree all the way through each tree it works very well....I love your ideas for these trees some of them I have never seen...thank you
WOW, these are great ideas! They usually don't have all these products in the Dollar Trees near my house. Tomorrow I have an appointment in another area near a Dollar Tree that has more inventory I will look for all these products. Thank you!
We got a new tree this year...much bigger (fake) but im having a ball using my old much smaller tree's pieces...took the whole top and have an adorable mini tree and all the little pieces are becoming swags and wreaths and anything else my DIY mind can think of...my fiancee asked me why i couldn't handle throwing it out lol...he should have known by now that i wasn't going to be able to do that!! I'm like look at all the things im making!! HELLLOOO! So yeah if anyone gets a new tree don't dispose of the old one there's endless possibilities!! Love all of your ideas...I'm gonna be flocking my mini tree now! Thanks!
Thank you! I have a bunch of the mini trees and was trying to figure out how I could put them together or add filler or whatnot. I think all your trees turned out great!
I watched another take a wooden dowel and slide three trees on it (the center rod as you could see here is a tube). She filled in with garland, just like you did, but kept it slender and ended up with substantially tall pencil tree! Oh, LOVED your Baking soda flocking advice! I think I saw Olive on the white trees. She is a doll baby!
Just found your channel and can’t wait to try these DYIs. After reading the comments, I think I’m the only one that has never shopped at the Dollar Tree 🌲
I used several of the first trees in that same tin to decorate the tables in my restaurant last year. Definitely didn't know about using the garland to fill it in. That's a great idea!
I bought 2 trees from dollar store and unwrapped all the branches from both trees. It took awhile to unwrap all the thread holding the branches on both trees but so worth it. As I worked I put the different sizes in separate piles. Then I rewrapped everything onto one tree scattering the branches. Not going to lie my fingers started to cramp a little bit but it was totally worth it in the end. I reused the thread that was already holding it together and it was much sturdier than before I actually had a few branches fall off when I took it out of the box and it would of been trash if I didn't stop and think about it. Now I have a nice full tree and it only took about an hour and I watched UA-cam videos while I worked. If I bought a tree this full at the store I would of paid 20 dollars and I only paid 2 dollars
What a great tutorial! I especially love the flocked tree; with the tips you provided no one would ever know it was from the DT. That would make a great Christmas tree in my small apartment. I also liked the swag. These two were my favorites. Kallie, you do such a great job with your videos! TFS 🎄
Dearest Olive, please tell Mama Kallie that all the trees and other decorations she created are wonderful and that, without a doubt, the gold rag tree I think she called it was my hands down favorite. Love you Olive, and your mama too. From the Southern California desert MK. ❤🌬☀️🌵
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Olive photo bomb this video. So much fun. Also, really love the ideas you shared of things to do with the DT small trees. You are very creative. Thanks for sharing.
I wish so much our DT had these trees! I have never seen them in ours or the 2 in the counties beside me ... that is what happens when you live in the mountains.. love where I am from no matter what though 😁🎄 love love your ideas

I love all of these hacks but I also love the tree how it is out of the box because it reminds me of a feather tree 🌲
Love the star idea!! I just bought four trees after visiting three dollar trees but it appears I’m going to need to get some more! 😆
The double tree situation is soooo cute! 🎄🎄
that star you made is beautiful;. I'm upcycling 3 trees what the cat broke last year into Christmas decor
