You DEFINITELY do not want to run any subaru without a proper professional tune, if you change ANY part between the intake and the tip of the exhaust. The flat 4 engines are VERY temperamental, and do not like it even a tiny bit if the tune is off even by a tiny amount. They are perfectly reliable when all parts under the hood and in the exhaust are kept stock. And they are perfectly reliable platforms when you get a professional tune for any changes you make. But too many owners of Imprezas and BRZs just get a new exhaust, BOV, headers, or a new intake. They might even change the turbo. And still not get it tuned by someone who knows what they are doing. When the engine is not running JUST as it is supposed to, it often leads to leaks, bent rods, engine knock, or just the whole thing blowing up eventually.

I recently picked up a GR86 and am pretty much doing full bolt ons and E85 with the Cobb/Ecutek for the tune with Delicious tuning and im doing BC Racing coilovers with a set of ESR RF2's in a 18X9.5 W 255/35/18's in a 35 offset! Hopefully should fit nice with out doing the lower and upper arms for now!
Sick man welcome to the channel appreciate you for stopping by. I also have 18x9.5 +35 offset and running 265/35/18 and my rear fitment is poking out an inch due to the offset, and I do rub a lot. I’m planning to get new rims worth round +45 offset. A little bit less aggressive.

I just got a ECUteck tune but you can also get a open flash tune I suggest you to do some research on tuning because I don’t know a lot 😭

It made it so much louder at least 10x louder. Huge difference between the AWE by it self vs with uel headers
