It seems to me to help by having a understand of calculus also . For example if we look at speed vs time and take the derivative we get velocity if the velocity is zero we have a flat no slope section of the graph
Area under velocity vs time graph shows displacement Area under acceleration vs time graph shows change in velocity Area under displacement vs time graph, would show a kinematics quantity that we generally don't learn about in introductory physics. There is a term for it called absement. In kinematics, absement is a measure of sustained displacement of an object from its initial position, i.e. a measure of how far away and for how long. The word absement is a compound word from absence and displacement. There are practical applications of absement. One application is proportional-integral-derivative control loops, where the integral control term is using absement as a basis for a feedback signal.
This is a graph which does not have a constant acceleration. In some regions, the acceleration is positive. In other sections, it shows a negative acceleration. This is probably a more complex graph than many you might expect to see in real life, but I want to show what the various features look like. When the graph is curved facing upwards, it is changing from a negative slope to a positive slope (which is a positive change and thus a positive acceleration). When the graph is curved facing downwards, it is changing from a positive slope to a negative slope (which is a negative change and thus a negative acceleration).
For Heaven's sake, stop complaining on your class teachers. Every video on UA-cam contain such a preposterous statements. It's really sick. The one who is teaching you right now on UA-cam, has also learnt it from someone in the class. It was your fault that you didn't pay attention that time and now complaining. Find what was and what is wrong with you and stop blaming others.
this moves soooooo slooooww i wouldve been able to go to sleep during this and wake up in the same subject like holy shit im not a 2nd grader slow and steady doesnt win the race it just makes shit boring as fuck
Thank you, my physics teacher made this seem so complicated to me
They always make it more complicated than needed to be…..
Excellent! Clear explanations, no frills, and to the point. Thank you!
I have an exam in a few days and this helped a ton. Thank you!
thank you so much!! i’m a junior in HS and my teacher never fully explained how to interpret graphs, this was so helpful!
What is graph
What is graph
this is really helpful . it is amazing that your interpretation is so clear
Thank you ma'am I really appreciated it I'm an average student and as i saw this video it helps me a lot
classmate nako ni.
thanks a lott mam... i had gr8 difficulty in solving graph based problems... now i got the concept clear from ur video...
Thank you, I understand so much better now, I truly appreciate this video

Video is vivid and the teacher is very articulate.
TYSM! U are a savior! wish there were more practice problem tho but great video!
im in physics now 😭 i wish i was in it a long 3 years ago instead
thank you so much! this helped me a lot :)
moving backwards or moving to the negative direction?
what does the abov or below x-axis mean?
Omg! Thank u so much for this video. It helps me a lot!
best video on youtube
thinks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing Video! My teach Mr. Finn will be very proud
Dude u got white ghost nut all over ur face
Awesome vid ❤ thank you.
I Will start using this soon
YOU ARE AMAZING
Thanks Jen!
what does area under different graphs show??? For example:- area under velocity time graph show displacement. i want to know about the other two.
Area under velocity vs time graph shows displacement
Area under acceleration vs time graph shows change in velocity

2:31 why acceleration is negative ? and also positive?

Thank you. Good video
Thank you 🙏
thank you maam, i was late on my class so i didnt understand anything. this helped alot
Thank you very much 💓
Thank you so much to help as.
Thank u so much...I was so confused
THANK YOU!!
you are awesome. thank you.
Thx
thank you
My teacher sent me here

Exactly, these are the same people raising their hands for restroom requests only.
Wtf
any mentarians here?

it wasn’t a question sarah. i didn’t want your opinion.
SARAH ALEXANDRIA FROST my teacher made us watch this in class like 3 months ago why are you still here
@@johncarman773 youre just toxic huh
Thank you! 🎉
Thank you!
