- In this episode, we put our $2 hand tube bender to the test, bending tubular stainless steel for a custom sissy bar on a friend's Harley Davidson. We explain all the basic techniques to achieve smooth, even bends using our pull-through style bender. Along the way, we share DIY polishing tips and demonstrate how to finish welds with our blending techniques. With the addition of Prism Supply Co tail lights and custom brackets, this chopper is ready to hit the Highway Havoc show in Perth looking pretty badass!

I have a whole set of those benders, very handy! I use mine mostly for copper and mild steel lines for air and hydraulics on restorations.
What are those old benders called? I would love to find one

Here's a pipe cheat code for ya. If you use a 30deg angle for your bends, your multiplier will always be 2. So..... if you need an offset of 3", your marks between bends will be 6". You're welcome.
Hey Jordan, I'm really enjoying your Fab Tips 'n Tricks! The tubing bender is great as well. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos on this bike! Several buddies of mine had stomp clutch Harleys back in the early-mid 1960s, and on into the '70s.
Fantastic explanation of an amazing fabbed work of art! Gorgeous bike! Never new about TIG brushing! Look at me, learning stuff! Hey...that wasn't Josh coming out of the bathroom! New shop apprentices? Go Bennetts Customs, keep moving forward!
You have so much talent. Sissy bar turned out excellent!
YES, more bike stuff! Love it fellas
Beautiful project.
Superb job. Having built cars and motorcycles for myself you have inspired me to do better! Thank you for sharing your talent. 😊
Cool bit fab work there Jordan, really compliments the bike. The Tig brush is a tool I hadnt heard of before it does a great job cleaning the weld area and save a heap of time buffing. Cheers Greg
Very nice work Jordan Sweet looking Bike
Great video , I have a chopped Honda 750 that I bought already built and it has a hollow tubing sissy bar that looks fantastic but is short so I’ve been planning to make a taller one this video helps a lot
That bike looks fantastic great job . I stumbled across this video now I’m following you

Awesome sissy bar! I gotta get a bender like that.
Being hollow tube you could have fed the wires though it, just that little bit tidier. However the hole would need some re enforcement to retain its strength.
your tube bender is very good.
We don't find ones like that here
Man I'd pay for you to teach me how you make it look effortless..... LoL awesome UA-cam channel from SW Florida .
I’ve not got a sissy bar on my bike I don’t think it would make it look any better. Single seat hard tail triumph. But I have been collecting some parts for a build when I retire. Seat pan, bars, tank, and the likes. I’d like to do a H-D motor I’ve never owned one. I’ve just seen a Larry Watson tank on speed and style you tube, that I would love to have on a bike. That was a good reaction from the lad. When he said wow. He may want to get creative now with some guidance. Take care best wishes Jordan to you and your family. Tim.
Sorry speed and culture not style.
Mate, you're such a young bloke, but you're teaching younger blokes. That's pretty cool
give me polished stainless over chrome any day of the week
Looks Great.

👍👍👍👍👍👍
Does that little bender have any branding on it ?
I have a few sizes of those I've picked up over the years. I'll get the manufacturer's name for you when I get out to the shop today, they are still available new, but are pricey, as industrial tools usually are. eBay is probably best source for price, they rarely show up at yard sales or flea markets.
The ones I have are marked " Handy"
Solid bar isn’t stronger than tube
It’s 2024… I’m pretty sure you can’t call that that anymore.
Ichiban moto did it better
