That is a very nice boat but I can’t in good conscience pay over $100K for a boat no matter how nice it is..but thats just my opinion..
It’s a waste of money if you don’t do tournaments but if you do this is pretty much a necessity and the boat pays for itself 2 first place tournaments pays out 100k
I’m running an LX21 and it is without a doubt the best bass boat I’ve been. The guys at Ikon really thought of everything a bass boat needs right off the factory floor.

I understand the game and I know you have to do these. Im not knocking iKon in any way, but it seems that any boat a pro is sponsored by is the best riding boat ever.
That’s why I say to go ride in one. If it wasn’t as good as what I say it is, then I wouldn’t keep emphasizing that. I will take 20-30+ marshals on rides on actual tournament days this season and can’t wait to hear their response.

Man i can tell yu ,without a doubt, its a nice boat , I went to the Basscat dealer to buy a Puma , I bought the 21 foot vx , I don’t fish for a living , I wanted a Bass boat all My life , never would spend the money , I worked all my life , but when I seen this boat , it was a instant ,that it , I’m getting ready to retire , what he is saying about this boat is true , I’m to old to buy in to sales crap to , this boat sales its self , it is a lot of money , but I figured this boat cost me 34.00 a month for the last 33 years , go look at it , I think yu will like it ,I’m an aircraft inspector , not a pro fisherman , Tdog..
Great walkthrough, thank you. Wasn’t expecting the speed run. I like how you can see over your graphs. I’m 6’3” and can’t see over my graphs in my Caymas cx21. I was shocked that she topped out at 70, another video shows the LX21 going 69 but he had AGM’s. With such a large center box, it stinks working out of the rear boxes. I wish someone would figure out a redesign to accommodate lithiums. Thanks again.

What battery does the single Noco charger charge? Is it’s Hooked directly to the battery or through a switch?

Assuming that with the Power Pole Charge, since you are running a different chemistry (cranking versus House battery for electronics) you are running a separate charger for the electronics battery?

At least you know that if you catch yourself on the other side of the lake or river during a tournament and the weather gets so bad you can always raise the hatches and get inside of that bastard and ride out the storm 😂😂.. Takenyour sleeping bag an a night light! ROOM FOR DAYSSSSS!! I wish that every bass boat had that much room in the back for rigging and batteries! It just makes things so much simpler on the boater if there's ever any issues on the water to work on things.. good luck, stay safe, stay YOU, AND KICK THIS YEARS ASS! 🤘✌️
My biggest question is, how are you charging that electronics battery with power pole charge? I have a similar setup and want to get a separate electronics battery but am trying to figure out how I would charge it, so it would be super helpful info!

@HunterShryockFishing i see that "tool box matting" in your rod locker weaving between your reels... is that a cheap way to protect the reels so u dont have to do covers on each one? Im digging that idea if so..
That’s correct. Get ya some drawer liner and cut it in 1ft squares. Drop a piece on top of each rod reel you put in the box. Super quick and protects reels and line. 👍🏼

Doesnt the Powerpole charge have a "jump start" feature?
Yes it does! I haven’t had to use it but I like to have a jump pack in my boat regardless to insure I can get back if something were to happen. Some place like the Great Lakes/ okeechobee/ or Sabine River - I want to get back before dark LOL!

Honestly, now with active Target 2, I can see the fish and don’t want them to come any closer than what they already are. That’s just my opinion.. but some cases I can see it making a difference
It looks like the touch screen is glitching on that speed run or is that the camera?
It’s the camera , different frame rate than the screen causes strobing effect.

as a 2023 ranger boat owner i went to freedom marine today to look at this boat and i have to say you have your pros and cons. 1st the seats and also the console. plus the steps on the trailer. just isn't for me.

Your active target setup looks great in the side locker. But mark my word they won’t stay there. Screwed in to thin glass. Not bolted. And probably no backing plate there. Maybe they did if they knew you wanted them there when they built it. This drives me nuts. Screws stripping out all over. Every boat. Sooner or later someone will get this right. Thanks for the video. Good lookin boat.

Bag of ice cheaper
The problem with just putting ice on them is you never know what the actual water temperature is. You can actually get the water too cold which can be just as bad as hot water. The chill plate keeps the temperature exactly what you need it to be all day long. That’s the future for catch/ release tournament fishing and huge benefit for me when I’m in a tournament.
