A really fantastic video and what a great collection of bikes from all ages. It's almost unbelievable how those multi cylinder race bikes rev and the speed that they do it in, their pick up is phenomenal.
This is what I love about the FoS.. you can get so close to the bikes and riders! Only ever been once, and that was 20 years ago. I really must go again. Enjoyed that, thanks for filming. 👏🏼
Alex. . Absolutely amazing video! The Honda 6 still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! All the amazing two strokes are still a joy to behold. Fabulous stuff, thank you!
Incredible amount of rare exotica and talent. I can't pick a favorite. The Honda 6 and the Norton rotary sound great. But the open stinger screamer 2 strokes raise the hair on the back of my neck. Wish Sheene were here riding his bike.
Thanks for the video. I used to go every year in the beginning from 1993. You were able to get up really close to all the bikes and cars and riders and drivers. But as it got bigger and bigger everything got further away so I stopped going in 2015.
@@paulaus Thanks for the answer. I was wondering about the horizontal profile and the sharp edges down. After all, you usually only see that on car tires that don't have to build up a lean.
I went to the very first GFoS, there was no one there! Sat in Mansell's F1 car, parked the GT Turbo next to bails opposite the house and had a picnic 😂 At the start line there was only 4 or 5 people hanging around.
I had to smile, all the old classics and strokers, spin the wheel and fire them up, get the engine warm and off they go. All the new bikes, plug the laptop in and run the diagnostics.......😄
Crikey, most of these old fellas are older than the old bikes. What will happen in 20 years time, will we see these old bikes in the future? I suppose Rossi and others will ride their old bikes??
Wow, what a gathering. Much as I love 2strokes the Honda 6 steals the show.... Awesome

Right on Tony, thank you :)

That Honda 6 never fails to raise hairs
Awesome! Legends!!! Legendary machines...legendary sounds! Magic!

Thank you Michael, very nice of you to say, we had fun making this one :)

Absolutely brilliant. The golden era. Thanks for sharing this fantastic video.
Good to see Sammy Miller still riding well into his 80s,more power to him 👍
89, this year I believe!

Great to see Casey Stoner suited up around the GP bikes again!!! 🏁👌 Thx 4 the video!
great! really captured the atmosphere 👏💚
This footage is amazing!!! Thanks for this.
Great video, what an amazing opportunity to walk amongst those legendary riders and machinery. Thank you for sharing! 🍻 👍
Excellent and better than the official videos
That Honda six cylinder sounds freakin’ angry, like a nest of bothered hornets.
I think that is the greatest grand prix bike ever produced.
That was one of the George Beale replicas. Built to original spec a few years ago
Nice video, thanks!
well done
Best footage I've seen so far
I am a non smoker but God those tobacco liveries are iconic and beautiful.
We can't have that anymore eh? it would all be gambling websites now, isn't that a leap forward for society......
That was brilliant!
Brilliant.
the bikes look fantastic
Brilliant coverage, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic footage!
Absolutely loved seeing Sheenes bikes, and all his old rivals! As well as Stoner, McGuiness, and the rest! Fab footage! Thank you.
Excellent video,thank you👌
Thank you, Alex :)
The man in the white nomex suit is Jochen Mass? Fantastic video, capturing the atmosphere... i have to go to Goodwood some day
Great to see all those GP 2stroke race bikes still running. Music to the ears.

Some great off hill footage, brilliant vid, a magical place that every petrol head should have on their list to visit 🙂
So many Grand Prix legends riding *their* bikes from back in the day.
Just amazing.
Fast Freddie Spencer !!!
That Barry Sheen Suzuki looks and sounds awesome.
12:41 what kind of tire is that? And what is this design good for?
It’s the full wet weather MotoGP tyre. In this case more suitable for a demonstration event.

JACOMO AGOSTINI..........💗💗🏍🏍🏁🏁👍👍
Was s at it on the Friday must go on the Sunday next year.
On some of the bikes the center of gravity worked itself up 😊
Brilliant behind the scenes at FOS.
Thank you :)
7:17 The legend Agostini
I wish the bikes were identified via caption
It is cool to see some of the current moto gp riders right there with the legends of moto gp (Brad Binder)

Was that really Giacomo Agostini there?
And no need to wonder why all of us old bike blokes are deaf...
Yep, in the flesh :)

9:32 Freddie?
@ 14:32 the point at which the Japanese tell Mich Doohan to "take it easy"!?
Great footage. 18 mins felt like 2 mins.
Wot . No Britten?
It don't get better than that, sensory overload at its best 👍

Thank you for not talking over the orchestra😉
Stu, bit dissapointed they didnt show any racing the "HILL" type of hill climb, tight bends steep hill of coarse.
Angry hornets? More like demented banshees! 😂👍🏍️🇿🇦

Pick a favourite out of this lot??? Possibly freddies 3 cylinder, one of the rgvs. Bike porn.

I really hate the sound of that Honda 265 Special. I think it was just built to annoy people.
It’s 250/6
@@cidertom5140 It don't change what it sounds like!
@@philstevens9914 insane!!!!
Turn the sound off any you can see what it'll be like in 20 years when the gubbermint has banned all hydrocarbon fuels, and it's all electric.
Steve Hislop rotary Norton…❤❤
That red bike..drop the noise a little .. U take off revving it, then stall it
