Love his way of playing. I actually discovered him through a old CD recording I found on a flee market. Its the chopin recording from his Warsaw competition. I looooove this CD, it's my favorite. It's from 1985 or something like that. I just now found him on UA-cam. ❤
I have listened to many pianists play this piece beautifully, but this artist plays with a depth of feeling and expression that surpasses all. I was deeply moved.
Everything Bunin plays is wonderful.! If I were in better health, I would travel to Japan from the USA to see him concertise! I was in Japan in 1995 when I was 42 years old. Now, at age 70, it is not that easy. I will continue to immensely enjoy and treasure his performances on Utube.
I dont have enough words to say,Thank you for this most touching performance by Bunin, touch my heart deeply.Thanx From a very far country in South Africa.❤❤
Happy to have him again. Here. The most human I believe in the form of a pianist. I hope everyone here will distinguish the nuisance and expression from the sound quality. A little deteriorated sound quality even gives me the sense that I had in my long bus commuting around like 3 decades ago. My memory is not clear enough to image the scean that I saw through the window but I remember the snow flakes falling down on gently and his recreation to form the piano piece as a part of the nature. It was so integral and I remember him as the beautiful coordinator between the instrument and the elements from God.
Tranquil and sparkle in the surface of water. There is not only colorful but also transparent. I would love to go the place where he imagined in this tunes like beautiful and peaceful. Just no words.
What a unique interpretation! Especially given this piece has been performed so many times in the classical repertoire, it is so refreshing to hear a new rendition of Chopin's nocturne.
@@hastensavoir7782 He gave a concert in Japan. He did not change much for me - same slightly wicked smile, delicate fingers. Energy of mutual healing felt good. It was so nice to see him again!
I wish I could tell him just how his interpretation of this Nocturne heals my heart. I can only play part of it but use it often at my little 231 year old church in a hymn medley. One of my favorites. I hope he is well. Wish he could come to America and play it for us, we have a beautiful Yamaha Concert Grand piano.
It has been just a few seconds since I ve been listening and I already adore this performance : the tempo , the phrasing , the flexibility. Reminds me of John Browning performance. Wonderful.

This takes me to a place I want to stay. I've been practicing piano for about a year. I am tempted to try this song next. This may take me another year unless I can keep my teacher... She has help me great deal. If you are ever in Huntsville AL looking for a teacher, Look up Ms. Monica S.
Why do you keep the left hand so irregular, sometimes ? Chopin once said in his letters that the most important thing in making rubato is keeping the tempo steady, the rest you add or subtract on the execution of the right hand.
+Dihelson Mendonca There is absolutely nothing objectionable about what you misperceive as "irregularity" of his left hand. It is an extremely well known fact that the 19th century affectation was to hit the left hand keys a fraction of a second BEFORE the right hand and if you want to be faithful to Chopin, that's EXACTLY what a Nocturne should historically be performed like.
Oh well...perhaps other hundreds of good pianists on the piano history has played all wrong, since they don´t play that fraction of time ahead on the left hand. This is a resource to use with caution, not to be abused. Since I hear Horowitz, Cziffra, Rubinstein, Cortot, Richter, Pollini, Zimmerman, and many others as a reference, it´s annoying this "abuse of the fraction of the left hand".
怒りや、悲しみ、不安を取り去ってくれる演奏はブーニンだけです!ありがとう。

Totally agree. Just like John Browning

This performance is other~worldly! Thaks so much for posting this performance.
名だたる巨匠達の演奏も素晴らしいけれど、同時代を生きる事が出来た事に感謝します✨My best Chopin interpreter ✴Bunin ‼

Bunin is a great artist. Thank you for posting this.
Wow.. Superb sound. By just playing the first measure, he was able to make me tear. People back then really sounded more musical.

One of my favorite Chopin Nocturnes , I love your interpretation of it, it brought great peace and healing to my heart.
I almost cried when I saw him back on stage in 2022. No one can be yong forever.

موهوب للغاية ومكرر ومعبر
人生の喜怒哀楽が表現されたような演奏、クリスタルボウルのような綺麗な音、世界屈指のピアニストと言っても過言ではないと思います。何度聴いても飽きません😊
Gorgeous! I'm so glad I found this interpretation. ❤️

Bunin did something right considering he won the Chopin competition.
Chopin is dead, his wishes are irrelevant.
It´s not irrelevant what Chopin thinks when you play Chopin´s music.
Ma che fine ha fatto questo pianista? Suona ancora?
