Am I right in saying you would leave the unbroken end plugged into the source (e.g. sky box), and the spare hdmi plugged into the output (tv) with the coupler at the other end of it and the new hdmi terminal block plugged in to the other side of the coupler. Then use the multimeter to check the cables at the broken end of the original hdmi compared to the new hdmi terminal? Thanks
