This video scared me. I just want to be with those who are saved and not of people of hellfire. This life is scary I wish I wasn’t even born. I beg Allah to guide me. I want to start fresh, im a sinner who is struggling every ramadhan and let it go by with hardly any worship except 5 prayers and fasting. I don’t know where to begin. I feel like im sealed for the things i have done and i waste my chances in ramadhan every year. I find it hard and I suffer from ADHD and find doing thing’s difficult in life including work. Any tips how to get back on track slowly, how can i have that level of taqwa again i had few years ago i would wake up for fajr like i was about to miss my final exams even in the deepest sleep but now im getting so lazy that im starting to miss fajr some days… i feel like im getting caught up in life as things are getting busier that all im concerned about is work and life more than my islam. Any advice on how to start getting a high level of iman from a person suffering from low level of iman, jazakAllah khair
The fact that this video scared you IS a proof that your not "sealed". Seek allah's forgiveness and strive in his way and know that allah's mercy is beyond your comprehension.
This does not make sense to me. How am I responsible for my actions when Allah decreed everything before I was even born. My decisions cannot overwrite Allah's decree, so how do I have a choice?
No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And if a sin-burdened soul cries for help with its burden, none of it will be carried-even by a close relative. You ˹O Prophet˺ can only warn those who stand in awe of their Lord without seeing Him and establish prayer. Whoever purifies themselves, they only do so for their own good. And to Allah is the final return. Surely We have revealed to you the Book ˹O Prophet˺ with the truth for humanity. So whoever chooses to be guided, it is for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. You are not a keeper over them. Indeed, Allah does not wrong people in the least, but it is people who wrong themselves. These are Allah’s revelations We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. And Allah desires no injustice to ˹His˺ creation.
I am not a scholar but I would like to say, take it from your perspective. Allah has given you free will and you will be judged and rewarded/punished according to your choices. But due to Allah's infinite knowledge, he knows every single event with every single detail that you will do with your free will, with which he wrote your destiny, that this person will do this, will be afflicted by this, will end up here, will study here, will eat this, will work this job and everything else. To you, your perspective is what matters, if you take the ignorant path and end up in the Hellfire, then to you, it is the result of your actions. But for Allah, he knew you were going to do this so your destiny was written. If you take the right path and end up in Jannah, then again, to you it seems like it happened due to your choices, but for Allah, he knew your choices before were going to perform them. But again I am not a scholar.
Salaam alaikum. if we have had our (limited) free will then all of these that are happening are because of what we have chosen before we were born. ALLAH SWT knew what will happen as consequences of our choice and that is what HE has written. it is said that we can change our qadr by praying hard, and so when we find out that we can't bear the consequences of our choices, then we can pray and have sabr for what ALLAH AWJ will grant us as a result of our dua. Even if you can't overturn ALLAH's AWJ decree, bear in mind that ALLAH AWJ is the Most Merciful and whatever HE decides for us as a result of our dua is out of HIS knowledge, love and mercy which are all infinite. Always make a preference for the hereafter rather than the world in making your dua. And ALLAH knows best. I hope this helps.
May ALLAH have mercy on us...Ameen
