    My 2017 1025R Johnny has those holes underneath & yes you're correct to use the bigger, wider slot, for greasing that grease zert fitting! You can also remove the floor panel & grease that fitting from above!

    Thanks. I did it this way the last couple of times and wondered if it was okay. Wat easier than any other thing I had tried before.

    Also, keep an eye out on that orange oil cap on the side for the motor oil. That radiator hose vibrates around and your cap is pointed at it like mine and wears a hole into the hose! My hose never blew and surprised, but it probably only has millimeters of hose material left before it would have went through fully. I got another piece of hose and zip tied it over the hose but it's still wearing through. I used a Dremel and sanded off that corner on the oil cap. Not sure if that has helped at all yet as I just did that this summer and haven't looked at it again.

      I will put a hose protector loom on it. I also noticed that when I changed my oil. Thank you!

    Another tip is the screen for the transmission on the back left side. On the back of the transmission coming up that tube/hose there is one bolt you can loosen and then that whole hose will move out of the way and give just enough room to get the filter/magnet out. Easier than messing with the two clamps. You have the back left wheel off, so even easier!

      I saw that somebody did that on another video on here. My clamps actually came off really easy. But I may try that method next time.

    I just did my yesterday, not that bad. The worse part it was, removing the grease coupler from the zirt. I ordered the LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler XL . There's 7 grease pins under my 2019 1025R tractor, and I think I got all. If I miss any, and there's more than 7, please any smart pants out there, let me know! 🤣. Thinking about adding the DIY front 3rd connection .

    Great video. I have a 1023e from 2018. Today rear lift stopped lifting. Seems to hit a hard stop. Little travel. Could it be the proportioning valve (silver Tee) under right side of drivers seat?
    Thnx. David

      @@davidmosscrop2374 check to make sure the lever that you use to move it up and down is not loose where it bolts to the actual hydro pump. Mine did that exact same thing and it was just loose bolts.

      @@Polarisxcr700 thanks. One very loose bolt (black 13mm) I tightened it. No difference. Bolts attached to lever seem tight. Any other ideas? Thnx

      @@davidmosscrop2374 check to make sure your seat belt buckle didn't fall into the slot the lever goes into. Try adjusting the turn handle you referred to before, make sure nothing is stuck between your three point and the frame. Make sure none of the pins holding all the three point bars and arms have backed out and gotten stuck.

    Thanks for the tips. I just completed my 400 hour maintenance except the front axle change out. About how much oil does the front axle take? Finally thanks for the mouse hole tip. I think i had some in there last winter. I need to pull the cover and look.

      Front axle is approximately 3 qts. Make sure you keep your breather screws out and fill it VERY slowly or it will burp out.

    Have the 2019, the grease gun won't fit on the zerk other then in the small round hole. The larger opening is way off to the side.

      Boy, I'm about to find out. Just bought a 2019 1025R, I'm also wondering if previous owner ever greased it, I hope he did. Tractor has 148 hours on it. How often it need to be grassed ? Do you use one kind of grease to greases all? TLB and B Mower?

    • @Polarisxcr700
      @Polarisxcr700  4 місяці тому +1

      Yes same greese. Just use a general purpose grease with moly. It will be good to go. @@PoisonShot20

      @Polarisxcr700  4 місяці тому

      @@PoisonShot20as far as how often I would say every 20 hours wouldn't be a bad idea. Depending how hard you're using it.

    What did you do to prevent the little friends to stop getting cozy inside of your tractor? LOL! They're very nesty, got inside of my GMC sierra vent, end up dying inside, and man, the smell never went way. I vacuumed, cleaned as far as I cold reach, spray with some cat odor spray. I spray my tractor with silicone, maybe it will keep them way. Other choice is spray the tires with some repellent? and keep loader, or any any implement up on the air? Don't know! Watch the video " An American Tail (1986) , ne of my favorite cartoon video, hey, I'm old, very old, but still enjoy clean funny cartoons.

      A good idea is to open everything when you aren't using it for extended periods. So, open hood, remove side panels, flip seat up. Don't give them a place to hide.

      @@Polarisxcr700 I heard a lot about spray mint, or place the little bags on areas that they like to reside. Not sure how effective its is.
