I applied for JAN 2021 intake and my visa got approved. Later deferred intake to May 2021..
Expiry of visa is as per Jan intake which is 31 Dec.. what shall I do so that the expiry gets updated as per May 2021.. so it should be 30 April 2022..

Actually it's not just because u get paid in illegal tax-free cash, it's because u exceed the 20-hour per week limitation that's granted to u via study permit. Sure u can get an 8-hour full time job as a student but when u apply for post graduation work permit it will definitely get rejected since u worked more than 20 hours per week and breached the study permit agreement.

If we are working as a bartender or a waiter in a restaurant and if we get tip from customer in cash so according to your perspective if we receive money after deducting all the taxes it is leagal but if not then it's illeagle soo can we accept that tip? Can you please explain? Is that tip is illeagal?
Working on cash has to do more with salary than tips. Your salary will be paid by your employer which will be on SIN. So that's fine. But if a random dude pays you 20 bucks that's not a part of your "salary". So if you get tips and stuff you should be fine

Your employer will remit tax on your behalf. So won't really make a difference

Basically there is a 10-15 days break between 2 semesters and once you have completed two semesters you might get an option to take a semester drop which means to take the full Semester as a break. But not every program/intake will have this opportunity

As of now I am on my work permit but back when I was a student I used to work on and off campus. My on campus job was PASS leader and off campus Burger King. Hope this answers your questions 😃

It's not illegal to give your SIN to your banker. What is illegal is when an employer asks you for your insurance number before hiring you.
Cash jobs are illegal even for citizens because they are not paying taxes of their earnings.
Construction, cleaning and moving companies does cash jobs.

They might help you to get a placement/co-op but there is no certainty. Once you graduate you yourself have to find a job
