    On point for sure, thanks! Have to have the base fitness to have more success even as a beginner and be able to be out there for a long time. Leg raises another good one.

    Some cardio every day is always a good thing. I'm someone who has never been to the gym in my life. I myself am naturally a type who can just keep on running or keep doing physical work. Never been one to lift weights or do other strength exercises. But yeah. Having good stamina and being able to ride a lot for example is already going to improve all the muscles you need to do it. Basically if you can keep going your other muscles will pretty much improve on their own. If you do want to get even more out of it the other 3 points are good as well of course.

    4 things: stamina, lower body, core, upper body. so you just need everything 😂 my conclusions everytime i think about kiting specific workout routines. that being said, I think you’re on poiny with legs and core being v important

    Thank you sooo much...as beginner I realised that there is a lot of "miss-talking" around the fitness that you need in order to kite and especially for beginners....I understand that the sport needs to be promoted and that the instructors need to put some soup on the table....but really some more clarification should be given at the beginning. Now that I ride a bit I understand it because even small physichal conditioning results in betted kiteing...but it costed me frustation, a looot of money and time...!!!

      Right on! I suppose it all about content. I’ve taught riders in their 70’s! They are stoked to get out and sail. But fitness is part of life. Even walking up stairs takes a base level 😛 definitely helps when pushing personal limits! Get it my friend! - Rygo

    Rings for pull-ups! Easier on the tendons, especially for us older guys...

    I’ve noticed especially after switching to boots that my lower core is crazy active on the water just doing tricks and pulling a big board with bulky boots towards your upper body
