A quick question - Lets say we have a Shape file data with geometry data type in sql server table - Like county shapes , Now i need to figure out which county based on latitude and longitude that i provide - I used STContains with Point as reference , But i am not getting any results even though one set of Latitude and longitude falls under one county , WHat i am doing wrong ?
Thanks for the tutorial its very good. I have a question though each time I convert to WKT it returns as either LINESTRING Z not LINESTRING , POINT Z not POINT. what could be the cause and more importantly what can I do about it? please help thanks
