Jake, with all due respect, thank you for trying out my deck.
I definitely feel like a lot of the games you played with it were just unwinnable by design due to plain bad luck and had less to do with the quality of the deck overall. Not to say that Mamoswine’s top tier or anything. It’s a stage two with four energy after all, but I still personally encourage you to keep trying it out and tweak it however to your liking. Mamoswine is a great card, especially when set up early, and even hard counters a few of the very popular meta decks such as Palkia, Starmie, Char, and Infernape when given the chance. Not meta-defining by any means (it’s no Gyarados EX after all), but no matter what deck Mamo’s against, you can always win with it and I’ll stand by that.
I personally run mine with one Tauros btw because I have had a handful of games where I’ve pulled only Manaphys as my starting cards, making the game unwinnable by default. The reason why I run that many Pokémon is to avoid that very problem. Also it’s not like you don’t already run a million Pokémon in most grass, fighting, or Charcanine decks anyway. Plus Tauros compliments the deck very well since you don’t always have to rely on Mamo to do 120 to EXs.
Anyway, hope what I said helps. 👍 I’m sorry the games with my deck didn’t go your way. That’s just how it is sometimes sadly. Once again, thanks for trying it out.
Jake thank you so much for trying out my deck! I suggested the Dragonite Jolteon and Vaporeon deck. I know it’s not exactly a meta deck but it’s definitely a fun deck to play regardless.
I was so happy to see you get a win with it and see that it can still win games in the new meta! I made that deck pretty early on when Apex first released and it’s still one of my favorites (even if it’s not meta).
I’ve been playing with a spiritomb koffing and weezing x2, a sneaval and weavile Ex, and a tauros with cape and rocky helmet and Cyrus. Mostly playing this cause I don’t have darkrai Ex yet but it’s been pretty solid for me

I did a similar concept to the eggs Celebi shaymin deck except I did eggs ex line x2 venu line x2 and 1 shaymin and it’s been pretty fun
One nice thing about venu ex is with cape you get to 210 and then with healing 30 every attack and Erika and shaymin it’s solid
